GOD WILL WIPE AWAY YOUR TEARS

Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted”

You might be going through a path of dejection and affliction. You might have no one in your life to comfort you and you might feel so lonely in this suffering. My dear young friend, God promises you today that you will be comforted and your days of sorrow and mourning will come to an end. (Isaiah 60:20)

God Himself will wipe away your tears and will comfort you by giving you the blessings, peace and joy that you long for.

If we read I Samuel 1:10, it says like this: “And she (Hannah) was in bitterness of soul and prayed to the Lord and wept sore.” Hannah’s life was filled with bitterness and tears as she was barren. But as she cried to the Lord, He heard her prayers and wiped away her tears by giving her a child who later became a prophet of God.

If we read Luke 7:12-15, we can know that a widow woman was crying badly as her only son has died. Jesus saw her tears and had compassion on her and brought back her son to life through His power. He wiped the tears of that widow by giving her back the blessing she lost.

God will remove all your agony and sufferings and He will comfort you. God said in Isaiah 51:12, “I, even I, am he that comforts you...” Whatever be the path of pain and suffering you might going through now, God will be your comfort and He will put an end to your sorrow.

I know a man who works in the same place where I am working. He was a Christian guy and followed God diligently. But there was a time at his young age he fallen in love with a girl who belongs to other religion and decided to marry her. As they decided to marry both their families had cast them away. They started their marriage life with no one to guide and help them. But the man had faith in Jesus and he kept on praying to Him for his all needs. God touched the life of that girl too and she also begun to follow Jesus Christ most diligently.

Six months into her pregnancy a great tragedy struck them that the fluid level in her womb reached a drastic low level which endangers the life of the child inside. They both looked to God with all their heart. But she went through lot of tears and suffering. As they shed their tears in the presence of God, He spoke through one of His servant saying “There will be pain and suffering but yet you will give birth to a child in a normal delivery.”

As God spoke to them, a male baby was born to them in a normal delivery. But there arise another problem in mother feeding. As the mother could not able to feed her baby with mother’s milk the child started to grow weak without any immunity power at all. So once in every fifteen days he will get fever and cold. They could not able to treat him as a normal child. They took him to a hospital for a check up and the doctors diagnosed him as a heart patient having a hole in the ventricular portion of the heart.

Doctors decided to do a surgery after some years. Again the parents who were filled with so much agony and pain shed their tears to God as there was no one to comfort them. God heard their prayers and as they attended a prayer meeting and at the stage of final individual prayer as the servant of God laid hands on the mother of the child, God spoke through him saying “I will wipe away all your tears” and as he laid his hands on the child, God spoke through him saying “He is healed right now.”

The particular servant of God knows nothing about the pain and suffering of the family but God knows their suffering and spoke through him. Soon they went for another scan and this time doctors reported that there was no hole and no problem at any parts of his body. It is God who did the healing in the life of the child and through the healing He wiped away the tears of the child’s parents and filled them with His peace and joy.

God can do the same to you today. As He promised in John 16:20 your sorrow will be turned to joy. He will wipe away your tears and fill your life with His peace and joy. Do not get discouraged my dear young friend. Jesus Christ is there to comfort you. Pour out your heart to Him. He is a God who hears your prayers and He will answer your prayers. He will not put you to shame for you are His child and the creation of His own hand. Surely He will wipe away your tears. Blessed are you that mourn, you will be comforted by God.

GHG - 2 (I WILL SAVE YOU FROM THE CLUTCHES OF CURSE)

GALATIANS 3:13 “CHRIST HAS REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW, BEING MADE A CURSE FOR US: FOR IT IS WRITTEN, CURSED IS EVERY ONE THAT HANGS ON A TREE”

My father never realized the danger of the curse that has followed their generation but yet he prayed to Jesus simply asking him to remove all sins and curses out of his life.

The curse started through one of the forefathers of our generation who was an expert in the black magic. He knows all the in and outs of black magic. One day as he came out of his home for a walk he saw sun was at its peak. As it is a mid day he realized that he dint brought an umbrella to cover him from the heat of the sun. So he threw his towel on the air and said some mantras and the towel hanged on the mid air above his head covering him from the heat of the sun. As he started walking again the towel also kept moving with him.

From a distance a young black magician woman saw this awesome happening and came to him to learn more mantras as she was not an expert in that. Soon she fell in love with him. By getting attracted by her beauty he pretended to love her and married her. Soon after some days he ditched her and threw her out saying some mantra that will bind her to death. As she realized that he ditched her, she cursed his generation with four stages of curse. The stages of curses were:

        a) Hereafter in your generation the first born will be a girl.

        b)  She will die at the little age or will commit suicide because of love failure in the young age.

        c)   If she dint commit suicide and stay alive, she will never get married.

        d)   Even if she crosses all the stages and get married, she will never bear a child.

She died soon after proclaiming the curse on our generation. And soon the curse started to have a great impact on the upcoming generation. Even I have seen several people who are still in our generation who got affected by that curse.

My grandfather’s first born was a girl and she committed suicide. Later as I said before, he had one girl and three boys. My dad’s elder sister gave birth to a girl and she also committed suicide. My dad’s eldest brother gave birth to a girl and she got married and even now she has no child. My dad’s elder brother gave birth to a girl and she too died.

MY DAD AT HIS YOUNG AGE
In the following days, my dad also got married and followed Jesus with all His heart. Our God is a miracle working God and He heard my dad’s small prayer and removed the curse out of his life. It was seen by each and every one of his relatives and they were so amazed. After a long time in our generation God gave my father a son as a first born and not a girl. My dad’s second and third born was also boys. I am the third one.

My eldest brother is alive even now and he is 34 years old now. He got married and his first born was also a boy. By the grace of God we as a family are the witness of how God can remove the dangerous curse that destroyed the happiness of several people.

Our God is a powerful God who can do mighty things and He is still alive today. He says in MALACHI 3:6 “FOR I AM THE LORD, I CHANGE NOT; THEREFORE YOU SONS OF JACOB ARE NOT CONSUMED.”

You might be afflicted because of the curse or the sins you did. Jesus Christ is faithful in His promises and He will remove the curse of your life and will bless you.

God has blessed my father by giving him a good wife (my mother) through which God has touched the life of my father who till then lived as name sake Christian. What way God united my dad and my mom in marriage? How God has changed our lives through the love and faithfulness of my mother?

EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE WEAK. GOD WILL USE YOU

Bible says in I Corinthians 1:27-29 “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence.”

Bakht Singh was a reluctant evangelist and preacher. Shortly after his conversion, he attended a small meeting of Christians. A man asked him where he was from and Bakht Singh told him he was from India. At the end of the meeting, the man announced to the group that someone from India was going to speak to them. The man took him to the front of the group and introduced him. Bakht Singh was quite shy and had never preached before. He looked down and muttered something softly. He told them he was a sinner and the Lord had saved him. He did not think anyone heard him, and after speaking, he ran out. He became angry and promised himself that he would never go back there again. One of the men on the same platform with him ran out after him. “God bless you,” he said. “Your testimony was of great blessing to me.” This man later became Bakht Singh’s best friend. The thought then came to Bakht Singh that maybe the Lord was able to use even the weakest creature.

Another time a man asked him to come to their church and speak to them next Sunday. Bakht Singh told him that he was not a preacher, but the man said, “We want a man from India to speak.” Bakht Singh reluctantly agreed. He went, not knowing what he would say. As he stood to speak, he began to tremble. He looked up and prayed, “Lord have mercy upon me and touch my lips and enable me to speak.” The words came slowly; he stuttered and stammered at first, but then began to speak loudly. A man ran up to him afterwards and said, “The Lord send you to comfort me.” Bakht Singh did not know how the words came to him that day. He had not read any books nor done any public speaking and he was very shy.

Later Bakht Singh became a powerful servant of God spreading the Gospel all over India.

My dear young friend, If God can raise a weakest man to a powerful servant of His, He can also raise you high whatever your weakness may be. So don’t get discouraged about your limitations and your weakness. Your weakness will never limit the power of God. He is all powerful God whose grace will be sufficient for you to overcome the weakness you have. You might be struggling today with the weakness of lust and sin. Surrender yourself to God and ask for His help. He will pour out His grace in your life and will raise you high. Today you might be nothing. But God promises you today that He will raise you high in your job; in your spiritual life; in your studies and in everything you do. God loves you and He will give you His strength. God will go before you and remove all the hurdles of your life and will use you for His glory. “You shall not be put to shame” says Holy Spirit to you.

GOD CAN TRANSFORM YOUR LIFE AT ANY AGE & AT ANY STAGE (REMARKABLE LIFE STORY OF A YOUNG WOMAN)

(My dear young friends, recently I read about the life of Frances Hunter and I was amazed to know how God transformed her life and has done mighty things through her ministry. Here is a short write-up of her story. If you want to read more about her life you can refer GOD’S GENERALS: THE HEALING EVANGELISTS)

Frances Hunter did God’s work along with her husband Charles Hunter. She and Charles had been marked by God for His amazing purposes. God used the Hunters to transform the course of the healing ministry, making people realize that ordinary believers can be used to heal the sick.

Frances Eileen Fuller entered into the world on May 8, 1916 as two pound baby girl. Her mother had gone into labor two months early. The midwife found that there was no hope for the tiny baby girl and so she had laid her little body in the shoe box to be buried later. But from that first breath of life, Frances was destined to do far beyond the possible.

Frances had a difficult childhood in Chicago as her mother was stricken with tuberculosis.  Fred fuller, the father of Frances made her life exciting to live. At her young age, Frances met a handsome young guy named Larry and began to love him a lot. After several months they both got married and soon she gave birth to baby boy in the year 1945. Frances was so happy about her life and she never knew that very soon she will be facing a great tragedy.

In the late 1940s Larry was diagnosed with brain cancer and he died after battling with it for two long years. Frances became a widow at the age of thirty three and widowhood became another challenge for her to overcome. To overcome the pain of losing her loving husband she began to attend social parties to have few drinks and to be with friends.

Soon she met a successful builder named Walter Gardner. He proposed his love for Frances and her son. Swept off her feet by his sweet talk he married him which turned disastrous as she discovered that he was an abusive alcoholic. He had deceived her and so after five years of suffering abuse, Frances divorced Walter. But yet she got a greatest gift of her life through this marriage, Joan her daughter who became the source of blessing to Frances throughout her life.

Later in the upcoming years she became a wild sinner. For ten years she smoked five packs of cigarettes a day, drank martinis every night. Yet a young pastor patiently showed her the love of Christ talking with her every week for four years but Frances never made a move towards Christ. Even though she never moved closer to God, He decided to move towards her.

Soon Frances met with an accident and three months later she found that she had lost sight in her left eye. The fear of surgery overwhelmed her and she cried out to God for His help.
Frances experienced a miracle as she lay in the hospital bed the night before the surgery. She had been reading a verse from Psalm 23 to the nurses, trying to appear spiritual. After they left, she turned back to the Psalm to finish reading and discovered that the two pages were completely blank-wiped clean. Suddenly she saw a hand write the words “Frances, I love you” in red across the blank pages. Overwhelmed by God’s love for her, she surrendered her life to God that night and she promised God that the rest of her life she will serve Him.

Later in the year 1966 she walked down to the altar of a church committing her entire life for God and she was born again at the age of forty-nine. She told God on that day, “God, I will make a deal with You. I will give You all of me…in exchange for all of You.”

She was committed to her deal and God honored her deal. God begun to use her and He had send Charles Hunter into her life and in the year 1970 they both got married. As a family they began to do God’s ministry healing several people through God’s power. Several people including deaf, crippled experienced God’s healing power through their ministry.

In the year 2009, Frances Hunter died at the age of 93. By the time of her death it was found that nearly 200 million peoples were blessed through their ministry. Over and over in their ministry they declared like this: “God said it, we believe it and that settles it.”

My dear young friend, If God can touch the life of a woman at the age of 49 and make her as a source of blessing to 200 millions of people by the end of her life, how much God can do with your life. The only thing you have to do is to commit your life to Christ and trust Him. He will not let you fail. You might be a wild sinner today but God can transform you as a great Servant of Him in the coming years. He is all powerful God and He will surely transform your life. Just surrender your life to God and you will see His glory penetrating into your life. Surely God will use you for His glory and you will glorify His name all through your life.

LYRICS THAT TOUCHED MY HEART - 2 (BE STILL MY SOUL)

"Be Still My Soul" is a popular revival hymn written by Katharine von Schlegel (1697-c.1768) and translated into English by Jane L. Borthwick (1813-1897).

Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul; thy best, thy heavenly, Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

Be still, my soul; thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.

Be still, my soul, though dearest friends depart
And all is darkened in the vale of tears;
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.
Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay
From His own fullness all He takes away.

Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

AS I WALKED ON LIFE'S PATH...

As I walked on life's path,
I met some people, friends I called,
But one day, they hurt me,
I felt sad and stopped praying,
Until I saw my Savior on the Cross..
Praying for those who had hurt him,
I learnt forgiving is the best medicine to heal ourselves...

Days went on & on,
At one point of time, people who were close to my heart,
Left me all alone in life's path,
I was depressed and hurt,
Until I saw my Savior on the palace of Pilate all alone...
Looking to do God's will being on track with God,
I learnt to focus on God's will rather than other's desires...

Days went on & on,
Again & again when I met with failures,
I saw the ones around me rejecting me,
I felt so bitter,
Until I saw the love in my Savior's eyes,
Even when peter denied Him thrice,
I learnt love is better than bitterness...

Days went on & on,
When days of trouble followed,
I thought my loved ones will be there for me always,
But still, they left me, I was forsaken,
I thought it was all over,
Until I saw my Savior pressing towards His Goal,
Even after His own disciples fled from Him,
I learnt it is better to trust on God than man...

Days went on & on,
Troubles came, Sorrows came, Dejection followed by Depression,
But nothing had any effect on me,
Because I learnt to look at my Savior, Christ on Cross,
Who went through trails after tribulations and through much agony and pain,
But yet filled with patience, love and mercy,
Pressing towards the accomplishment of God's will...

Yes! I have my living savior who loves me as I am..
And who understands me at all moments of my life...
I will follow Him as long as I live,
And He will guide me to the eternal life.

GOD HAS A GREATER LOVE UPON YOU

One day, a drill sergeant came out and threw a hand grenade into a group of young soldiers. The men all ran away and took cover away from the grenade. Then the drill sergeant told them that the grenade was not set to explode and he just did it to see their reaction.

The next day, a newly recruited soldier joined the group. The drill sergeant told the other soldiers not to tell the new soldier what was going to happen. As the drill sergeant came out and threw the grenade into the crowd of soldiers, the new soldier, not knowing it wasn't going to explode, threw himself on top of the grenade to prevent it from killing the other men. He was willing to die for his fellow soldiers.

That year, the young man was awarded the only medal for courage and bravery that had not been won during battle.

"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends." (John 15:13)

"For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love towards us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:7-8).

My Dear young friend, God has a greater love upon you even today. Return back to His love.

GHG - 1 (I HAVE CHOSEN YOU)

JOHN 15:16 “YOU HAVE NOT CHOSEN ME, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU.......”

In the year 1951, during the first day of December a baby boy was born in a remote village near Tuticorin which is in the southern part of India. The baby boy was none other than my beloved father. My father was born as a last boy in a family which already had two girl and two boy children. My grandfather was working as a clerk at that time. Being the last child of the family special care was provided to my father by his loving elder sisters.

No one in that family has ever known about Jesus Christ. Every children of that family has been brought up in a traditional Hindu religion background. My forefathers have built several Hindu temples and few were black magicians among them. My father also began to grow in a traditional religious background. He hated other religions including Christianity to the core. He never knew that one day the True Living God will touch his life.

When my father was 10 months old, his eldest sister has committed suicide and died. My father was told about this only at his young age. As she died, no one realised the curse that followed their generation which forced her to death. Even though my father understood that eldest girls who were born in the families of our generation were committing suicide, he could not find out the reason behind this. But he developed the keen desire to know the reason behind the death of his sister.

As my father was the youngest child of his family he was protected with so much care and love. One day my grandfather took him to a fortune teller. The fortune teller told him that his son will die at the age of 16 and no religious power can save him. Upon Hearing the predictions, the whole family was filled with grief and sorrow. Even my father lost all his hopes. His 16th age came and everyone around him looked so saddened that he will die soon.
But Jesus Christ has other plans about his life.
He is a more powerful God who has chosen my father to be His witness. My father didn’t die at his 16th age and so he began to hate his own religion which predicted that he will die. That made him to search for the true God and slowly he started loving Jesus Christ and believed that He alone is a true God. The very next year he got baptised and began to follow Jesus Christ.

The true fact is my father does not chose Christ but Christ has chosen my father to be His child. My dear young friends remember this: God has chosen you for a purpose and no matter what kind of life you are living, He will surely fulfil His purpose and He will not leave you. He will be with you and will carry you all through your life as you are chosen by Him.

As my father began to hear more about Jesus Christ, he prayed a little prayer that God has to remove all generational curses that followed him. He prayed never knowing that there exists a dangerous generational curse that followed the families of his generation.

What kind of dangerous generational curse it is? Did Jesus Christ remove the generational curse that existed on our generation?

THE WILL OF GOD - AUTHOR UNKNOWN

The will of God will never take you
Where the grace of God cannot keep you,
Where the arms of God cannot support you,
Where the riches of God cannot supply your needs,
Where the power of God cannot endow you.

The will of God will never take you
Where the spirit of God cannot work through you,
Where the wisdom of God cannot teach you,
Where the army of God cannot protect you,
Where the hands of God cannot mold you.

The will of God will never take you
Where the love of God cannot enfold you,
Where the mercy of God cannot sustain you,
Where the peace of God cannot calm your fears,
Where the authority of God cannot overrule for you.

The will of God will never take you
Where the comfort of God cannot dry your tears,
Where the Word of God cannot feed you,
Where the miracles of God cannot be done for you,
Where the omnipresence of God cannot find you.

Everything happens for a purpose. We may not see the
wisdom of it all now, but trust and believe
in the Lord that everything is for the best.

WHAT GOD CAN DO WITH "57 CENTS" - A TRUE STORY TAKEN FROM INTERNET

A sobbing little girl stood near a small church from which she had been turned away because it was "too crowded."

"I can't go to Sunday School," she sobbed to the pastor as he walked by. Seeing her shabby, unkempt appearance, the pastor guessed the reason and, taking her by the hand, took her inside and found a place for her in the Sunday school class. The child was so happy that they found room for her, and she went to bed that night thinking of the children who have no place to worship Jesus.

Some two years later, this child lay dead in one of the poor tenement buildings. Her parents called for the kindhearted pastor who had befriended their daughter to handle the final arrangements.

As her poor little body was being moved, a worn and crumpled red purse was found which seemed to have been rummaged from some trash dump. Inside was found 57 cents and a note, scribbled in childish handwriting, which read: "This is to help build the little church bigger so more children can go to Sunday school."

For two years she had saved for this offering of love. When the pastor tearfully read that note, he knew instantly what he would do. Carrying this note and the cracked, red pocketbook to the pulpit, he told the story of her unselfish love and devotion. He challenged his deacons to get busy and raise enough money for the larger building.

But the story does not end there... A newspaper learned of the story and published it. It was read by a wealthy realtor who offered them a parcel of land worth many thousands. When told that the church could not pay so much, he offered to sell it to the little church for 57 cents. Church members made large donations. Checks came from far and wide.

Within five years the little girl's gift had increased to $250,000.00--a huge sum for that time (near the turn of the century). Her unselfish love had paid large dividends.

When you are in the city of Philadelphia, look up Temple Baptist Church, with a seating capacity of 3,300. And be sure to visit Temple University, where thousands of students are educated. Have a look, too, at the Good Samaritan Hospital and at a Sunday school building which houses hundreds of beautiful children, built so that no child in the area will ever need to be left outside during Sunday school time. In one of the rooms of this building may be seen the picture of the sweet face of the little girl whose 57 cents, so sacrificially saved, made such remarkable history. Alongside of it is a portrait of her kind pastor, Dr. Russel H. Conwell, author of the book, "Acres of Diamonds"

WHOM ARE YOU GOING TO CHOOSE?

In our lives, there are many situations at which we come to a point where we are blankly left with options and are finally forced to choose one of the two or more options in front of us. Eventually when we go for the right choice our life takes a turn in the direction where we have joy and if we choose the wrong one we might end up struggling.

Making the right choice brings a lot of blessings in our lives.  If we consider the life of a mortal man, who is a marvellous work of God, almost all the time he has two choices before him. One is taking the side of Jesus Christ and living a life of purity to give glory due unto God and the other apparently is joining hands with the devil and living a life full of lustful sins. The choice which you are going to make today is going to shape your life tomorrow.

There was a true man of God and when one day his son received salvation, God showed two ways before him. One was a straight path just like the path of a fish and the other was a crooked path like the one the crab takes. JESUS showed him both the ways and asked which way he will choose - the straight one like the fish or the crooked one like the crab. The son, with the help of the Holy Spirit committed to lead his life on a path like that of a fish and because made that specific choice, God blessed him abundantly. Even today God is using him mightily for His glory by making him responsible over a huge Christian organization.

Your life also will be abundantly blessed when you decide to lead your life keeping Jesus in front of you.
Many times we long to live a life with Jesus but at the same time, can’t give up our lustful desires.  A life of two-timing will definitely never bring blessings to our lives.

Everybody might know and acknowledge you as a Christian. As far as the outside world is concerned, you might have a testimony that you lead a holy life but deep inside you might be living a very sinful life. In short, you might be living a double life. The guilt because of your double life might be driving you crazy. You might have a longing to live a life along with God but however you might not be able to give up your lustful desires.

My dear young friend, when you decide to live with Jesus, He is more than ready to give you the grace for it. Your work is quite simple.  You just have to choose one option and it should be the right one. You have to understand that a life mixed with holiness and sin is very dangerous. This is the time where you have to choose Jesus Christ completely and leave all the sins. Jesus Christ is ready to accept you as His child. Give your life to Jesus and be blessed.

GHG – 0 (PRAISE BE TO GOD ALONE)

My dear young friends,
I am so glad to meet you through this article GOLDEN HANDS OF GRACE (GHG) in which I will be sharing with you all the miraculous and marvelous works done by God in our lives and from the lives of people I met.

Bible says in Psalm 139:16,17 “Your eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them. How precious also are your thoughts unto me, O God! How great is the sum of them!

Our God is a loving God who watches over us always and has good plans about our future. When I was a growing up child boy, I never understood the power of God when it was taught by the pastors in the churches. But when I saw God working in the lives of my family members and the people I know, I understood His loving grace and His mighty power to change things upside down in a moment.

There were times when I stumbled in my life, His grace has been sufficient enough to strengthen me to move forward. Psalmist says in Psalm 94:18, 19 “When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O Lord, held me up. In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul. How true this verse in our life too! As long as our God is in control, nothing will overpower us.

He has done so many good things in our lives. God has put in a great desire to write this article long back. I took few months but I know God will surely help us as I share the personal experience of many in this GHG article. I am alive at this moment because of the grace of Jesus Christ alone. He carried me with His hands when I went through so many tough paths in my life. When God asked me to start this blog, Holy Spirit clearly spoke to me that the name of the blog should be GOLDEN HANDS OF GRACE. Hence I decided to write this article also in the same name.

So my dear friends, I will be writing about God’s works in this page once in a week with the title GHG. Keep praying for me and glorify God as you go through the articles. If you have any suggestions or testimonies to share kindly mail me at narainpons@gmail.com

God bless you lots.

TO BE THANKFUL FOR - AUTHOR UNKNOWN

The mess to clean after a party because it means I have been surrounded by friends.

The taxes I pay because it means that I'm employed.

The clothes that fit a little too snug because it means I have enough to eat.

A lawn that needs mowing, windows that need cleaning and gutters that need fixing because it means I have a home.

All the complaining I hear about our government because it means we have freedom of speech.
The space I find at the far end of the parking lot because it means I am capable of walking.

My huge heating bill because it means I am warm.

The lady behind me in church who sings off key because it means that I can hear.

The piles of laundry and ironing because it means I have clothes to wear.

Weariness and aching muscles at the end of the day because it means I have been productive.

The alarm that goes off in the early morning hours because it means that I'm alive.

Getting too much email bogs me down but at least I know I have friends who are thinking of me.

Even though I clutch my blanket and growl when the alarm rings, thank you Lord, that I can hear. There are many who are deaf.

Even though I keep my eyes closed against the morning light as long as possible, thank you Lord, I can see. Many are blind.

Even though I huddle in my bed and put off rising, thank you Lord, that I have the strength to rise. There are many who are bedridden.

Even though the first hour of my day is hectic, when socks are lost, toast is burned and tempers are short, thank you, Lord, for my family. There are many who are lonely.

Even though our breakfast table never looks like the pictures in magazines and the menu is at times unbalanced, thank you, Lord, for the food we have. There are many who are hungry.

Even though the routine of my job often is hard, thank you, Lord, for the opportunity to work. There are many who have no job.

Even though I grumble and bemoan my fate from day to day and wish my circumstances were not so modest, thank you, Lord, for life.
