GIVE WHAT YOU HAVE FOR THE GLORY OF GOD AND SHOW GOD'S LOVE TO OTHERS - CHRISTMAS SPECIAL

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." - John 3:16

God gave His only Son for us because He loved us. He gave all that He had so that we might be blessed. That is the reason we celebrate Christmas today. God showed His love that He has upon us by giving His only son.

1 John 4:9 says, “In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.”

God thought about our well being and so He gave His Son for us. He showed His love by giving the One whom He loved so much. Today on the day of Christmas we have to think that whether we are demonstrating God’s love to others by giving what they need.

I know a young girl who earns 12,000 Rupees per month. Her family depends on what she earns. Out of her salary she used to give 10 percent tithe. As she stays in a hostel she has to give rent also. So mostly she will be getting Rs.5000 per month for her living.

Recently she met one girl who was so poor and needed some money urgently. She prayed for her and she felt strongly in her Spirit that she has to give Rs.5000 to her. That’s all the money she had for her own life in that month. But yet she gave it to her without any hesitation. That particular girl would have seen God’s love through her. She gave all that she had.

I know another guy who accompanies me whenever I go outstation for Spiritual works. Ten days back few members of an organization gave some money to help poor people. So we together went to an old age home for giving them what they need. The guy who accompanied me earns nearly Rs.16000 and he had no father. His family also dependent on what he earns.

He saw those old people and told me that he wants to do something. I didn’t give much thought to what he said. But two days after the visit, he called me and told me that he wants to give Rs. 5000 as Christmas gift to that old age home. I could not believe that because I know he needed much money during this Christmas season. But yet previous week he visited them again and gave the entire amount to them.

I wonder how these two people willingly gave what they had to those need. All I know is they carry God’s love in their heart.

In Bible we read about a widow who gave all that she had to the treasury. Jesus said about her in Mark 12:43,44, “...Assuredly, I say to you that this poor widow has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury; for they all put in out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her whole livelihood.”

Jesus said that she had put in more than all other people. Though she gave little money, she gave it all to God.

Those two young people gave all that they had because they were filled with God’s love. God loved us and so He gave His only begotten Son for us. This Christmas, dedicated yourself at God’s feet to be filled with His love so that you can show His love to others. Give to poor people and demonstrate God’s pure love through your deeds. God bless you all richly.

AS A FATHER CARRIES HIS SON, GOD WILL CARRY YOU

“and in the wilderness where you saw how the Lord your God carried you, as a man carries his son, in all the way that you went until you came to this place.” – Deuteronomy 1:31

Yesterday I met an old lady whom I knew for quite a few years. When I joined my workplace years back I saw her for the first time. She was a constructional worker and she used to work in the adjacent floor of my room. I had never spoken much to her but yet we share smiles whenever we cross each other. For the past few years I could not see her much.

After a long time I had met her yesterday and she was so happy to see me. We spoke for few minutes and she shared her life story with me. She told that she came to that particular city 23 years ago with two little children.

She had a great fear that how she will raise her children in that new city. Though she was anxious, she surrendered her future in God’s hands. She got a little income but yet her faith upon God was so big. God blessed her richly and she said that her two children studied well and got married now.

One of the children was working in the organization where I work. She said that only because of God’s grace she could live in that city for 23years and could raise her children to a good level though she was an ordinary constructional worker. I have attended both of her children’s marriage and I know God has blessed her family richly.

My dear young friends, you might be anxious about your future. You might feel like that there is no one around you to help you. As you struggle financially you might think that it is impossible to live in this world. Do not worry. Your Heavenly Father Jesus Christ will carry you as a father carries his son. He will carry you in His arms. You will not struggle anymore. You will be comforted and blessed. God will never leave you nor forsake you.

CHRISTIAN BEST ONE LINERS - 18

Your anointing is worth fighting for.

Sin is only temporary pleasure; God is eternal joy.

I've traded everything in for my mansion.

Our future is as secure as God's promises.

Gods transmitter is perfect, but man’s receiver is defective.

Everyone isn't able but God is.

Put God first and your soul will never thirst.

Soul-er energy is a renewable resource, as long as you stay in the Son.

There are many books to read. But only one is written in Red.

The Cross was temporary. The grave was for a moment. And the resurrection is forever.

The water only gets deep when you take your eyes off of Jesus.

We can walk on water but only if we believe!

JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU A LOT AND HE CARES FOR YOU

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you." - Isaiah 49:15

Recently I was arranging certain things in our home. My daughter was sleeping at that time and my wife was doing some other work. As I was moving here and there, I pulled a chair in which I had kept my laptop. Actually the laptop was inside its bag and as I pulled the chair it fell down in a force. I treasure that laptop which God enabled me to buy for nearly 55,000 rupees.

As soon as it fell down the immediate thought within me was about the condition of the laptop. With a confused mind I looked at my wife and I thought within me that she will scold me for the incident that had happened. But my wife pointed out my daughter and said in a low voice, “Be careful and do not make noise. She is sleeping.”

I actually thought that she will get worried about the condition of the laptop but instead she was worried about our little daughter’s sleep. That’s the love of a mother. Her daughter’s sleep was more precious to her than a costly laptop.

There is a greater love than that of a mother. It is the love of God. God says that surely a woman may forget her child but yet He will not forget you. Jesus Christ cares for you more than a mother. His love upon you was greater than anyone’s love. Even today He loves you with an unconditional love. He loves you as you are. He will never cast you away.

Several years ago, at one particular moment of my life I was so depressed. I was away from God and I could not able to face any pressures in my life. One day I was filled with so much depression that I was not in my control. It was a Saturday and I have to write an important exam on Monday after noon. Throughout the whole day I could do nothing.

My health condition got worse and I was admitted to a hospital ward that evening. I could not stay in a hospital for much longer and so I forced myself to come out of the hospital during midnight. The impact of the depression was within me on the next day also.

I could not do anything. So I called a servant of God who is a good prophet. As I was heartbroken I asked him to pray for my exams. He started praying and God spoke to me in a surprising way. Jesus Christ said, “My dear son, sleep well.”

How do you feel when God says to you to sleep well when you have to face a tough exam? Jesus Christ said that because He knows that I need sleep so that I will be at peace in my mind.

On that day my mother knew that I was suffering but yet she doesn’t know what I need. I was not in a close relationship with Jesus Christ. But yet He loved me more than my mother and asked me to sleep well. Also He gave me a good sleep without any worries. His peace filled my heart as I slept. He led me to write that exam well such that I passed in that exam. Even today when I think about that day, tears flow through my eyes as I feel God’s love which is greater than a mother’s love. Jesus Christ loves you so much.

My dear young friends, you might be going through a toughest path in your life. Your loved ones might not able to understand your exact situation. But Jesus Christ who loves you more than your mother and loved ones, understand your situation and problem. He loves you a lot. He will provide you His grace. He will give you what you need. He will take care of you.
