GO AND TELL JESUS

 “Then his disciples came and took away the body and buried it, and went and told Jesus.” - Matthew 14:12

John the Baptist was beheaded in prison. His ministry came to an end. His disciples would have felt bad when they heard the news of his death. Their heart might have filled with great sorrow for they lost their master who have guided and nurtured them to grow spiritually. 

With so much sorrow and pain they went and took the body of their master and buried it. They might have shed so many tears seeing the body of their master without his head. It’s true that they were in sorrow and they have lost all hope about their future. But they have known what they have to do. They buried and they immediately went to Jesus and told Him what all happened.

What are you doing in the path of sorrow, depression, pain, discouragement, failure and in the path of pain? 

You might be in sorrow and pain. Your life might be filled with tears. Your heart might have filled with great burden. All you have to do is: Go and tell Jesus. He will hear your heart’s cry and He will change your life’s situation.

I know a young guy who always tried to live a life which was pleasing to God. But at one particular moment of his life, he could not get closer to God as he desired. He was far away from God and he doesn’t know what to do. His heart was filled with so much of grief and pain. No one helped him in that situation. 

On the midnight of one particular day, he was feeling so bad about his life. He couldn’t sleep on that night for his heart was filled with so many burdens. He had no words to tell God about his life for he hated himself for all his failures. He cried very badly on that day night. Around 2 o clock early morning, he decided to write a letter to God. But he had chosen a very bad way to write a letter.

As his life was full of darkness, with tears he started writing a letter to Jesus Christ with his blood. For one hour he slowly made wound in his body with a sharp material and with his blood he wrote a letter to Jesus Christ. All he had written in one hour with his blood was this: “DO NOT HATE ME DAD AND PLEASE SAVE ME”

Jesus Christ had shed His blood for us. So there is no need for us to shed any blood. What the young guy done was terribly wrong but he doesn’t know what he is doing. His heart was filled with so much sorrow and so he did that. Though he had chosen a wrong way shedding his blood to write a letter, God looked into his heart. He told Jesus Christ all his problems.

Jesus Christ heard his prayers and touched his life. He had changed his life completely and gave him back all that he lost. God’s divine peace filled his life and Jesus Christ started to bless him abundantly. Now he is living a peaceful life with his family and doing God’s ministry.

My dear young friends, you might also be in a desperate situation knowing not what to do. Just Go to Jesus in prayer and tell him all your problems. He will hear your prayers and will surely do a miracle in your life. You will be surely blessed by God.
