QUOTES ON TOP - 1

“Dear friends, whatever you are doing for God, ask yourself, Is this God’s plan? Remember, if the Lord is not building the house, all your labor is in vain. You can build an entire house and yet not have any part of it built according to God’s plan. If you are too busy to wait on God to discover His plan, you may go through your entire life and everything you do will be in vain. Then what will you say to God when you stand before Him in eternity? He won’t ask you about those things you did according to your ideas and plans. He will want to know what you did about His plan for your life.” – Kenneth E. Hagin

Note: Few months back we have decided to put the quotes of Christian servants of God on top (just below the blog banner). We had started doing that and we later found that when we replace one with another the former one was not archived. So after much thought we are starting  a new section named 'Quotes on Top'. The quote that we are going to put on top of this blog will be posted under this section and then it will be published on top. So even if we replace one quote with another the former one will be archived since it was published already. God bless you.

CLING ONTO THE UNCHANGING GOD IN THIS CHANGING WORLD

Few days back I had went to my native place to meet one of my close relative. We as a family left our native place when I was 8 years old. We lived in our own house in a street where only few houses was there. When I was a kid we used to travel in cycle rickshaw and it used to be a great joy to me on those days. When I went this time to my place I searched for cycle rickshaw but I could not find it easily. Cycle rickshaw stands were turned into auto rickshaw and taxi car stands.

After much struggle I went and found a old man with his cycle rickshaw. I went to my relative’s house in cycle rickshaw and as I entered the street in which we lived so many years ago I could not recognize that street at all. That street was packed with houses and it looked like a small street. Then I understood that as the years progressed world around us kept changing. Cycle rickshaw was once the popular way of rental transport. Now that was vanished and it was replaced by auto and then by call taxis. So many things that we saw years ago was not the same today. Then I understood that the world we are living in was changing rapidly.

Recently few weeks back I heard the news that the digital age has brought closure on over 160 years of telegram history in India. I remembered that when I was a kid suddenly the postman will deliver a small chit to our family. It will be carrying a simple sentence stating that someone has expired. I don’t even know the meaning of the word ‘expired’ on those days. But seeing that simple sentence my mom and dad will quickly make us get ready and we will be soon on a journey somewhere. On those ages I loved journeys and so I loved telegram even when it carried a bad news. Now they say that the telegram history had come to an end.

The advancement in technology brought an end to the history of a technology which was popular once. At times when we want to communicate to our relatives we used to book a trunk call and someone will connect the call after sometime and only then we can talk to them. Even at that time we could not speak much because the call cost will be too high. Now landline was replaced by mobiles; letters were replaced by emails and simple talks were replaced by short messages. Nowadays every facility is just one touch away from us. When I saw all these things I understood that the technology we know was also changing rapidly.

One side technology is changing and other side world is changing. Not only was that but people around us also changing. I know a girl who told a guy that he was her world and life but within years she went away from him leaving him all alone. Her love upon him changed once she found someone better than him.

Everything and everyone around is changing. How could we move on in this changing world with changing technologies and changing people?

My dear young friends, everything around you might be changing and loved ones behaviour around you might also be changing. Do not get discouraged. Amidst all these changes we have One who is unchanging.

“For I am the Lord, I do not change; therefore you are not consumed...” – Malachi 3:6

Things and people around you might change but you have God who is unchanging. He says that He will not change.

Bible tells us in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”

Jesus Christ will never change. His faithfulness upon your life will never change. His grace upon you will never change. The promises that He gave you will never change. His love upon you will never change. His relationship with you will never change. You have a God who will never change. He is same yesterday and today. He will be the same forever.

My dear young friends, if you need peace, comfort and blessings in this changing world, you have to cling onto the unchanging God. To cope up with the changes around you, cling onto Jesus Christ who is the unchanging God. If you cling onto Jesus Christ no change will affect you. Jesus Christ is calling you today.

“He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:24

Come to Jesus Christ and surrender your life to Him today. You will be blessed. God bless you.

CHRISTIAN BEST ONE LINERS - 10

He who has learned to pray has learned the greatest secret of a holy and happy life.

Satan's greatest wile is "Wait a while".

Life is short, Pray hard.

To be almost saved is to be totally lost.

The church should be prayer-conditioned.

A dead end is valuable if God teaches you a lesson while there.

Christ sends us out to bring others in.

Be as patient with others as God has been with you.

When you open your Bible, ask the Author to open up your understanding.

Our needs never exhaust God's supply.

The reward of your faith is to see what you believed for.

Many are serving in the Lord's army as secret service agents.

Admit it -quit it- and forget it!

The Holy Spirit is the gift that keeps on giving!

Sin will take you farther then you want to go, will keep you longer then you want to stay and will cost you more then you want to pay.

DO NOT GET DECEIVED BY 'E-CONFESSIONAL'. CONFESS YOUR SINS ONLY TO JESUS CHRIST

Recently I heard the news that Pope Francis is granting plenary and partial indulgence through twitter. The plenary and partial indulgence is related to confessions. I was so shocked when I heard the news. And so I tried to find about the news through web and then I landed on a methodology to confess sins in online itself which was named e-confessional.

This is the first time in my life that I am hearing about e-confessional. So I just went into that website and they gave a list of the sins. Once we choose any one from the list available then the web leads us to the next page where they are asking us to choose the level of the crime committed. The level starts from E which is minor to A which is very severe. Once you choose the level the web page leads us to the confirmation of the sins we selected and proceed to confessional option. Once we proceed to confessional the page displays a prayer and then says our sins are absolved and we were declared free from our sins and guilt.

I could not believe that at all. I never thought that the lie had spread this much far. How fast the devil is spreading lies among people and how easily people are getting deceived!

My dear young friends do not give your mind and heart to the lies of the devil. There is only one way for to be forgiven. Bible tells us clearly about the way.

“...the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7

“In Him (Jesus Christ) we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” – Ephesians 1:7

Confessing your sins to your pastor or any other servants of God will never help you in any way. Your redemption will never come through your pastor or any other holy people. Also you have to know that a confessional web page which was written using html or any other code can never ever forgive you or save you.

You have to confess your sins to God. Your redemption will come through the blood of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ alone can forgive you. No other human can forgive you.

Even in my life when I did sins and suffered because of guilt I ran to so many servants of God. They did counsel me and they comforted me but no one could take away my guilt and forgive me. Then I ran to Jesus Christ in prayer. He accepted me as I was and then He had forgiven me. Also He removed the guilt and filled me with His Holy

Even today you might be suffering because of the guilt of your past sins. There is no need for you to run to any counsellors or any other servants of God. All you have to do is confess your sins to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ will never cast you away. He will forgive you and remove the guilt. Jesus Christ will fill your heart with His everlasting joy and peace. God bless you.

POEM ABOUT AMERICA - WRITTEN BY JUDGE ROY MOORE (TAKEN FROM A FORWARDED EMAIL)

(As we read this poem, let us all pray fervently for United States of America as this poem explains the bad state of the present American nation)

America the beautiful,
Or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.

Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
Your house is on the sand.

Our children wander aimlessly
Poisoned by cocaine
Choosing to indulge their lusts,
When God has said abstain

From sea to shining sea,
Our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
And a need to always pray

We've kept God in our temples,
How callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
And Heaven is His throne.

We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges
Who throw reason out the door,

Too soft to place a killer
In a well-deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
Before he leaves the womb.

You think that God's not angry,
That our land's a moral slum ?
How much longer will He wait
Before His judgment comes ?

How are we to face our God,
From Whom we cannot hide ?
What then is left for us to do,
But stem this evil tide ?

If we who are His children,
Will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
And mend our evil way:

Then God will hear from Heaven;
And forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
And those who live within....

But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
Withdraw His hand from Thee.

THE QUILT - INSPIRATIONAL (AUTHOR UNKNOWN)

As I faced my Maker at the last judgment, I knelt before the Lord along with  all the other souls. Before each of us laid our lives like the squares of a quilt in many piles.

An Angel sat before each of us sewing our quilt squares together into a tapestry that is our life. But as my angel took each piece of cloth off the pile, I noticed how ragged and empty each of my squares was. They were filled with giant holes. Each square was labeled with a part of my life that had been difficult, the challenges and temptations I was faced with in everyday life. I saw hardships that I endured, which were the largest holes of all.

I glanced around me. Nobody else had such squares. Other than a tiny hole here and there, the other tapestries were filled with rich color and the bright hues of worldly fortune. I gazed upon my own life and was disheartened. My angel was sewing the ragged pieces of cloth together, threadbare and empty, like binding air.

Finally the time came when each life was to be displayed, held up to the light, the scrutiny of truth. The others rose, each in turn, holding up their tapestries. So filled their lives had been.

My angel looked upon me, and nodded for me to rise. My gaze dropped to the ground in shame. I hadn't had all the earthly fortunes. I had love in my life, and laughter. But there had also been trials of illness, and death, and false accusations that took from me my world as I knew it.

I had to start over many times. I often struggled with the temptation to quit, only to somehow muster the strength to pick up and begin again. I spent many nights on my knees in prayer, asking for help and guidance in my life. I had often been held up to ridicule, which I endured painfully, each time offering it up to the Father in hopes that I would not melt within my skin beneath the judgmental gaze of those who unfairly judged me. And now, I had to face the truth. My life was what it was, and I had to accept it for what it was.

I rose and slowly lifted the combined squares of my life to the light. An awe-filled gasp filled the air. I gazed around at the others who stared at me with wide eyes. Then, I looked upon the tapestry before me. Light flooded the many holes, creating an image, the face of Christ.

Then our Lord stood before me, with warmth and love in His eyes. He said, "Every time you gave over your life to Me, it became My life, My hardships, and My struggles. Each point of light in your life is when you stepped aside and let Me shine through, until there was more of Me than there was of you.

My prayer is that all our quilts be threadbare and worn, allowing Christ to shine through.

SONG I LIKE - 21 (WHEN EVERYTHING FALLS APART PRAISE HIS NAME)

LYRICS:

When you're up against a wall
And your mountain seems so tall
And you realize that life's not always fair
You can run away and hide
Let the old man decide
Or you can change your curcumstances with a prayer

When everything falls apart
Praise his name
When you have a broken heart
Raise your hands and say
Lord, you're all I need
You're everything to me
And he'll take the pain away
When you feel you're all alone
Praise his name
And you feel all hope is gone
Raise your hands and say
Greater is he that is within me
And you can praise the hurt away
If you'll just praise his name

Ohhh,
You can overcome
By the blood of the lamb
And by the word of your testimony
You'll see the darkness go
As your faith begins to grow
You're not alone, so how can you be lonely

GHG - 13 (WHEN YOU CRY OUT JESUS CHRIST WILL SURELY HEAR YOU)

“In the day when I cried out, You answered me, and made me bold with strength in my soul.” – Psalm 138:3

God spoke to me in April 2010 that I have to marry a girl according to His will and from there on we waited at God’s feet to show a girl according to His will. Nearly after two years God showed His will and God also spoke to my parents asking them to go forward. So I was engaged on July 2012 and my marriage date was fixed on August 2012.

Like everyone I started talking to my fiancée once I got engaged and our relationship started well. God told me that I have to take care like a child since she was a innocent girl. So I prayed to God to give me His grace and started talking to her.

As days progressed the people around her and some of her close relatives started to speak negatively about our family based on the way we spoke to them in certain issues. This brought fear into the hearts of my fiancée and she could not believe the words which I spoke to her. So she used to cry at times and our relationship had lost peace.

At the same time some of the married people whom I know closely were going through the path of divorce. When I thought about them I had a fear that my family life will also end in divorce. As I gave my heart and mind to this negative thought, fear was tormenting me day and night even though my marriage was finalized according to God’s will.

Finally my marriage day came and I prayed well for that. As I stood at the marriage ceremony my heart and mind was filled with great peace. I stood there with a great joy and the ceremony got over.

Soon after the ceremony got over I went to my wife’s house. Once I had entered there my mind started to recollect the incidents in which my wife’s relatives spoke negatively about my family and then the same fear which had tormented me before the marriage slowly begun to arise in my mind.

One side I was so happy that I had fulfilled God’s will in my marriage and on the other side I gave way to the fear which was brought by devil into my heart. I stayed in my wife’s house for two days without any peace at all. Throughout the day I felt like someone telling in my mind that my family life will end in divorce. I know it was devil’s voice but I could not stop myself listening to it.

After two days I returned to my home with my wife. I used to speak to her happily so that she believes that I was normal. Once I returned to my home again I was tormented by the fear of divorce and my mind automatically begun to think about the solution to get out of the fear. The only solution my mind and heart got was committing suicide. Suicidal thoughts automatically filled my mind and in all ways I felt that I had no way of escape.

Soon my wife’s relatives came to our home to make her get settled. Outwardly I used to behave normal to them but I was greatly tormented in my mind. They had left after a day and I still remember that afternoon.

I could not control my emotions at all and so I ran to the feet of Jesus Christ in prayer. I told Him the way in which I am suffering and asked Him to remove all the negative thoughts that arise in my mind. You might not believe it. I just prayed with tears for ten minutes and then I went to sleep.

When I got up in the evening, I was filled with a divine peace in my heart. All the thoughts about divorce and suicide went away and I felt like my mind and heart was washed and perfectly clean. Jesus Christ heard my prayer and removed all the fears and suicidal thoughts. He gave me His strength to move on.

God’s divine peace is leading me even today. After that day I had never got any negative thoughts. Nearly 11 months had passed from the day I got married. I can say that God has taken control of my marriage life and we were living in great peace.

Jesus Christ has given me a perfect and loving wife. Nothing happened in my life as I had feared. On that day I made a simple prayer. Through His abundant grace Jesus Christ heard my prayer and lifted me. Even today He is leading us safely.

My dear young friends, today you might be filled with an unknown fear about your studies, future, relationship or job. You might try your level best to come out of it but yet you are facing failures after failures. Today go to Jesus Christ in prayer. He will pour out His grace upon you and He will give you His strength and He will save you.

Today Jesus Christ is promising you, “My dear Child, nothing that you fear will happen in your life. I will give you My covenant of peace and I will lead you safe. Fear not for I am with you to protect you and carry you.”

Whatever be the tough situation you might be in, just give it to Jesus Christ. He will hear your prayers and will lead you safe. You will live.

There were certain times in my life I heard God speaking to me in a tough way when I disobeyed His word. In what ways I disobeyed God’s word?
