will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.”
– Jeremiah 33:3
In Mark 5 and Luke 8 we read about a
woman who had a physical problem for nearly 12 years. She was longing for a
healing for 12 long years but no one could help her. She ran to the physicians
and she had spent all her wealth to receive the healing. Physicians could not
help her and the wealth she had could not bring healing to her life.
One day she heard about Jesus. She
didn’t wait for another day to come to go to Jesus. Once she heard about Jesus,
the very moment, she ran to Him. She went behind Him and touched His garment
and immediately she got healed.
When she ran into the presence of
Jesus Christ she received the blessing she longed for so many years. Even today
if you run to the presence of God in prayer and supplications, you will receive
what you long for.
Recently I heard a testimony of a
young girl. She was not a Christian girl. Her father and mother took care of
her all the needs and she was living a happy life. One day her father got heart
attack and he died. Suddenly darkness filled her life. Soon her mother got a
problem and the doctor diagnosed that her mother has 2nd stage
cervical cancer.
The young girl lost all hope about
her future. One day someone shared about the love of Jesus to her and she got
touched when she heard about Jesus. She accepted Christ as her savior and kept
her trust upon Him. Day and night she begun to cry to God to heal her mother
and few weeks back doctors found out that her mother was completely healed
without the surgery and they could not find the trace of tumour in her body.
That young girl cried to God. As she
called unto the Lord, He heard her prayers and healed her mother. God did great
things in her life.
My dear young friends, God will do
great things in your life. All you have to do is run to God. Pray to Him daily
and pour out your heart to Him. He will never leave you orphan. He will come to
you and He will bless you. He will do great and mighty things. You will receive
what you long for. God will richly bless you.
