“For
who has despised the day of small things?...” – Zechariah 4:10
When God led me to start a blog years ago, I had no
idea about the plans that He had. I always struggle in writing English articles
fluently. I thought I will post articles in the blog only for few months. But
then, God had greater plans. For the past 7 years God has enabled me to post
articles for His glory. I am so happy that with this article the total post
count is 1000. Among these thousand, God made me to write few articles and also
made me to share the articles written by others. I thank God for His grace and
mercy that had led me thus far.
Personally, this year God has done great things in
our life. While I was praying for the year 2017, God said to me that He will do
miracles in the life of those who were despised. Today when I think of the
promise that God gave me, I could very well say that He had fulfilled His
promise in my life.
For the past few years I was doing my doctoral
research but could not finish it for several reasons. I was despised by many and
went through humiliation. But in the July month of this year God gave me doctoral
degree. Once I thought I will never complete my schooling as I struggled in my
studies. Today God has blessed me with doctorate degree. Praise be to God.
In January of this year, we were travelling in a
car and as we stopped our car in a railway crossing, a bus had hit our car.
Though our car got a slight damage, God protected us. In May, a big branch of
tree fell upon my father. People around him rushed to him and took him out
after few minutes of struggle. To their surprise, my father was unhurt and he
was safe. Even today in his 66th age, he is healthy and doing his
work because of God’s grace.
In October, as me and my brother were returning
from a ministry in a hill road, suddenly the brake system in our car got failed
and we were about to hit another car. My heart was filled with a great fear at
that moment as I was driving the car. But God protected us on that day too.
One of my cousin aunt is a widow. One day as she
was travelling with her church members in a van, the driver lost control of the
vehicle and the van fell by the road side. Many got serious hurt. My aunt got
few wounds but God protected her life and she is healthy now.
One day as my wife was in her work place, a snake
approached her very fast. My wife thought that she is in trouble but then by
God’s grace the snake went away without harming my wife.
God gave good health to our family members. Jesus
Christ gave grace to my little daughter to speak, sing and pray for His glory. I
thank God for that too.
He made us to stand in several village churches to
share His word and He blessed us richly in all aspects. This year through GHG,
God helped us to release few e-books in online portal. He directed us to start
GHG Short Devotions which was sent through WhatsApp and also posted in blog
which was personally a great blessing to me.
Many things God has done in our lives in this year
2017. If I write all the miraculous things that He has done in our life, this space
will never be enough.
I thank God for all the good things He has done in
my life and the life of my family members. I also thank God for the blessings
that He has given to all the members of GHG family which includes its readers
too.
All praise and glory be to God alone. I know for
sure that God will lead us in the coming year 2018 too.
Through His grace, I believe that I will be posting
articles regularly in the upcoming year.
