AS YOUR SOUL PROSPERS...

One of the most beautiful wish I like in Bible is in III John verse 2. “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” What a wonderful wish that also has a lively promise within it!

It’s true that God wants you to prosper in all things and be in health all through your life. Even we people have a greatest desire in our hearts that we have to prosper in all things. But do you think that prosperity comes just like that?

If we clearly look unto this passage we may understand the condition behind this promise. The verse clearly says at the end: “just as your soul prospers”. 

My dear young people you have to understand the truth. The prosperity of all things that you do and your good health depends on the condition of your soul. That why Bible clearly tells that you may prosper in all things just as your soul prospers. You may be in good health just as your soul prospers.

If you have to receive God’s abundance (prosperity), your soul has to prosper. If you do something that harms your soul, it will harm your life’s prosperity. Many young people are living in darkness without any blessing in their life because they kill their soul by doing sins. Sin destroys their prosperity.

Bible clearly says in James 1:15 that fullness of sin brings forth death. Fullness of your sin puts your soul to death. As your soul progress to death, your prosperity will also progress to death. In God you will obtain life. If you sin against God, you will receive death to your soul.

Proverbs 8:36 says “..He who sins against me wrongs his own soul; All those who hate me love death.” Ezekiel 18:20 says “The soul who sins shall die...”

Remember this very clearly: If you sin and do wrong things against God, your soul will die. Once your soul dies, your prosperity will also die. You can never prosper in all things when you sin against God.

What you have to do, to make your soul live?

Isaiah 55:3 “Incline your ear and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live....”

Your soul will live when you come to Jesus Christ and hear His voice. He is the way, truth and life.

My dear young child, you would have sinned against God. Because of your sins, you might have lost the prosperity of your soul. You life might be in a complete darkness without any blessing. Don’t worry my dear child, Jesus loves you a lot.

If you surrender your life to God and walk according to His counsel hearing His voice, He will restore your soul. Your soul will live and you will prosper in all things you do. God bless you.

HIS GRACE - Testimony of Mr. Dinesh

    Hi I am Dinesh currently studying B.Tech degree in a reputed university. I belong to a family which was cast out by the relatives. Even though we have no relatives, we have a God who loves us more than anyone. This testimony is about how God helped me in my studies and about His love which had never cast me away.

     I am a person who never knew about the love of CHRIST, even being a Christian. As I knew nothing about the love of Christ, I never realised the miracles which were done to me by Him, but in His due time, me and my family members were brought to a place where we came to know about the true love of GOD .

                 When I was doing my 8th grade, I met with an accident, in which I was thrown away by nearly 200 metres and people who were spectators just believed that I am dead, but to every one’s surprise not even a single blood was shed from my body, and also the important thing is that I did not feel even a slightest amount of pain, which was surprising even to my mother. I realised it was the hands of GOD that protected me on that day. And it was after this accident I was baptised.

                Even though I was baptised and committed to HIS love, I began to backslide in my life which brought restlessness and guilt feelings in my mind and heart. I struggled hard to stand firmly in God.              At that time, it happened that I have to do my 10^thGrade exam in which I broke all my parent’s expectations as they were expecting me to score above 1050 over 1100 (Because I used to be within the first five ranks in school).

                After two years I faced my 12^th grade exams came with same struggle. Before my physics exam I had three days holidays. But due to my sins I could not concentrate on my studies and I used to go to balcony and I just slept over there. Then on the day of exam I just turned a few pages of the two volumes and I didn’t have any hope of getting a pass mark. By the grace of GOD I just wrote something, filled pages and came back with a heavy heart. I really don’t know what to do. Suddenly as I remembered the love of God, I just went and knelt before the presence of GOD and asked Him to give me a pass mark. Suddenly I heard a sweet voice in my heart which said “Don’t worry. You will lose only 13 marks”. After hearing that sweet voice, a great peace filled my soul.

                When the results were announced it was a great joy to see my physics mark as 187 over 200, where I lost only 13 marks as told by GOD. And even in other subjects too, God helped me to get good marks. I thought that I will not pass in my higher secondary exams. But God through His abundant grace gave me a good total (1000 plus out of 1200). Because of God’s GRACE now I am doing a prestigious degree in a reputed institution with my majority of the subjects deal with concepts of physics and maths.

                Even though at many moments in which I cheated God, there was not at all a single moment in which God cheated me. He was so faithful in His promises. Even though I have done many things against Him, He has never cast me away when I went to Him. Even now, He is guiding and helping me in everything of my life. If He has not shown His grace, my life would have perished long back.

                My dear young people, even you may be a person who often back slide in your spiritual life. Today you may be filled with guilt. Remember, you have a Loving Lord who loves you as you are. If you come to Him, He will never cast you away. You will not be put to shame.

Come to Jesus and receive His forgiveness. He will bless you more than what you desire. God bless you.

SECOND CHANCE

   This real incident is about the second chance that God gave to a young man whom I know. This particular young man was born in a good Christian family. From his childhood age, he saw the life of his parents who served God in a faithful way. But yet he left God and went into worldly pleasures in his teen age. In the year 2000, one day as he was speeding in his bike, he met with a grave accident and was thrown into the air and his head hit an electric lamp post.

                For few minutes he felt nothing but darkness. Soon after he came to conscious, he saw himself standing, with blood dripping from his head. Years passed by. In the year 2007, at the peak of frustration, as he was searching for a job more than a year after the completion of degree, he was so depressed. One day He went to God and prayed like this: “God, why don’t you give me a job atleast for the sake of the ministry work that is being done by my parents. You should have atleast shown me some grace for the sake of their Ministry”. As he kept murmuring against God, Holy Spirit began to reveal all the incidents of his life one by one in a big screen through a vision.

                As the incident in which he met with an accident in the year 2000 came, God began to speak to him through His Holy Spirit. He said “My dear son till now you was wondering what happened to you in that few minutes in which you have felt darkness all around. It was the moment in which your soul was ready to come out of your body to go to hell. And when I passed by thee, and saw thee polluted in thine own blood, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live; yea, I said unto thee when thou wast in thy blood, Live Ezekiel (16:6). So only you are alive today. The life you have got is a second chance. Be Grateful for your life and do not sin anymore”.

                As the young guy heard this, he surrendered his life to God and even now he is sure to be grateful for the second life that God has given to him.

Dear young people, many a times we think in our life that it’s because of our own strength we are alive and we overcome certain problems. The only reason you are alive today, is because of JESUS CHRIST only. Thank God for this life and stop doing things against God. God still loves you a lot. He wants you to live for Him. His gracious hand is stretched forth towards you. You belong to Him. Come back to Him and live for Him. You will be a blessing.

CLUTCHES OF SATAN

                  This real incident happened in South India. There were two young guys who were very attached to each other. One was a Christian guy and other was a non-Christian. Both were friends from the school days. The Christian guy thought there will be time to share gospel to his friend and kept postponing talking about Jesus. Days passed by. Non-Christian guy developed too many talents as he grew up in his life. One day when he went to a lake with his friends, he began to swim on the lake as he knows swimming very well and reached the other shore. In the evening, as he began to swim back to the shore, in the mid way his leg was stucked in something which is far below the water level. As his leg was caught hold by something, he couldn’t swim at all. He tried his level best to swim but he failed. He cried for help. Hearing that, two of his friends jump into the water and tried to save him. But they couldn’t save him. Soon police personnel came to the spot and his dead body was taken out with the help of a crane machine.

                His Christian friend’s heart was broken as his close friend was dead. Years passed by. One day when Holy Spirit spoke to the Christian guy about the life of his friend, He asked one thing to him: “Do you know how your friend died. Many people are saying many reasons. He died because Satan’s hands caught hold of his leg. That’s the only reason for his death”. Later in a vision he saw his friend in a desolate place. He came to him and asked one question which pierced into the heart of the Christian friend. The question is why you didn’t telld me about your God and the Eternal life He gives? Do you know that because of you, I am in darkness? Hearing these words, the Christian friend broke down and cried a lot. Then he began to pray and share gospel to his friends and for the other people.

                My dear young people don’t get into the clutches of Satan. He will destroy your whole life and put your soul to death. Once you get into the hands of Satan, there will not be any way to escape except crying out to JESUS CHRIST. If you get into the hands of God who has given life for you, you will live as a blessing. Choice is yours: Are you going to get into the destroying hands of Satan or the Gracious hands of JESUS CHRIST. Choose God and choose life. God bless you.

WHY ARE YOU REMEMBERING IT? - Written by someone whom I know

When a man repent and believe in his heart that God has raised Him from the dead and confess his sins to Lord Jesus Christ then he is saved. As in Romans 8:1 “So now there is no condemnation to those who are in Christ and walk according to the spirit which made us free from the law of sin and death”.

When we come to Jesus we are blessed to have a peaceful life in Him, but often we tend to lose this peace just by remembering all our past iniquities, transgression and our entire rebellious attitude against Lord. We also struggle lot to overcome this guilty conscience which is one of the powerful tool used by Satan to put us down, to make us to feel low in our spirit, to undergo depression, to make us feel unworthy to go to the presence of Holy Lord Jesus Christ. And we began to think whether this righteous God will accept worst sinner like us. At last we put an end to our Spiritual life thinking there is no hope to get back to God. 

In bible Luke 19:2-10, there was a man named Zacchaeus.He was one of the most influential Jews in Roman tax collecting business, and he had become very rich by over charging people on their taxes. One day when Jesus made his way through his town, Zacchaeus tried to look at Jesus, but he was too short to see over the crowds. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree beside the road to watch Him from there. When Jesus came by, He looked up at Zacchaeus and called him by his name and said. “Quick, come down! For I must be a guest in your home today”. This was displeased to the crowd, as they saw Zacchaeus as a notorious sinner. He was hated by his own Jewish people because he was accursed, cheater, selfish, pride, dishonest and not a man of integrity. But Jesus Christ never looked at his sins. He just looked at his soul which means so much to Jesus Christ. He loves him as he was. He accepted him as he was. Also he wanted to stay in his house. Feeling the love of Jesus Christ, Zacchaeus repent to Lord and said, “Look Lord, I give half of my wealth to the poor, and if I taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore it fourfold” Jesus responded, “Salvation has come to this home today, for this man has shown himself to be a son of Abraham and I, the son of man, have come to seek and save those like him who are lost”.  

Many times we might have turned aside, lost and gone away from God. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. Even today God loves you and looks at you in a compassionate way as He looked at Zacchaeus. He wants to stay in your heart. Will you give a place for Him in your heart? When you repent from your sins, He not only forgives all your iniquities, removes all your transgression but also forgets it and remembers it no more. So if Almighty Lord Himself forgets it then why are you remembering it?    

THE SILVERSMITH (AUTHOR UNKNOWN; TAKEN FROM INTERNET)

Some time ago, a few ladies met in a certain city to study the scriptures.
While reading the third chapter of Malachi, they came upon a remarkable
expression in the third verse:


"And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver (Malachi 3:3)"


One lady proposed to visit a silversmith, and report to them on what he said
about the subject. She went accordingly, and without telling the object of
her errand, begged the silversmith to tell her about the process of refining
silver.


After he had fully described it to her, she asked, "But Sir, do you sit
while the work of refining is going on?"


"Oh, yes madam," replied the silversmith; "I must sit with my eyes steadily
fixed on the furnace, for if the time necessary for refining be exceeded in
the slightest degree, the silver will be injured."


The lady at once saw the beauty, and comfort too, of the expression, "He
shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver." God sees it needful to put
His children into a furnace; His eye is steadily intent on the work of
purifying, and His wisdom and love are both engaged in the best manner for
us. Our trials do not come at random, and He will not let us be tested
beyond what we can endure.


Before she left, the lady asked one final question, "When do you know the
process is complete?"


"Why, that is quite simple," replied the silversmith. "When I can see my own
image in the silver, the refining process is finished."

GOD CAN CHANGE YOU (Taken from Gaither collections “Love can change the world”)

It seemed to be his lot. He was one of those unfortunate people that seemed to always be in the wrong place at the wrong time. He was born wrong: declining Roman Empire, broken home, a conquered Jewish nation, poverty-stricken slums. He lived wrong. Others went to school, he played hooky. Others played ball, he stole apples. Others learned trade, he learned to cheat, just a common thief. He started wrong, lived wrong, and looked as he finished wrong. The wrong place, the wrong time: the Roman cross, a painful death, a final shame, when from the middle cross came words of redeeming love. “You shall be with me in Paradise”. In all the stream of history, one and only one of the numberless sons of Adam could have said those words and He hung beside him. What tremendous fortune! What wondrous providence! In one instant, his life, given to evil, thoroughly misused, doomed to die, was changed and ended in crowning glory. It was the one sentence without which there is no success. It was the one sentence that redeems all failure; it was said to him at life’s final flickering moment. The one most important issue of all was gloriously solved. At long last, he was in the right place at the right time.

My dear young people, God can do the same to you today. His one word can change your life to glory. In one moment, His gracious hands can lift you high, from the place where you are now. Seek Jesus. Whoever you are, He will change your life. He is ready to use you. God bless you.
