QUOTES ON TOP
“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

YOU WILL BE COMFORTED
“As one whom his
mother comforts, So I will comfort you..." - Isaiah 66:13
In the coming days
you will be comforted says God to you. You might be going through tough times
in your personal life or in your marriage or in your career. Every door in
front of you seems to be closed and you could not find a way to move forward.
You are sitting in darkness and crying a lot. There is no one who could
understand your pain and longing. Today the Lord who has created you says to
you that He is so concerned about you.
In John chapter 5 we
could read about a man who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. He was lying
near to the pool of Bethesda expecting a miracle in his life. There was no one
to help him. Everyone around him cared for their own life and their own
blessings. This is your situation today. No one is caring about your pain and
the inner feelings. The man was longing for thirty-eight years. One day Jesus
came to him knowing that he had been suffering for a long time. Jesus healed
him and turned all his sorrows into joy.
Few years before on
a particular day I was not feeling well physically. I thought of talking to my
mom who lived in another city. I called my mother and just said hello. The very
next sentence I heard from my mother is, “What happened? Are you not feeling well?”
Literally I was surprised because I had just said one word to my mother but she
could able to understand my condition even though she was in a far away
distance.
Today Jesus Christ
is promising you that He will comfort you as a mother comforts her children. He
wants you to know that He knew what you are going through. He knew your present
situation. He knew about the trials and troubles that you are facing in your
life. He knew everything that is bothering you right now. He also knew the
promises that He had given you and the blessings that He has in store for you.
Today Jesus Christ says
that He will wipe away all your tears. You will find His peace and happiness
flowing through your hearts and mind in abundance in the coming days. You are
not going to perish and you will be comforted says Holy Spirit to you.
