While He was still speaking, some came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house who said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher any further?” – Mark 5:35

You are going through a situation in which someone is telling you that your future is finished. You are carrying a report given to you by someone that makes you believe that everything is finished in your life. Everyone around you are saying to you that, ‘it is finished’, making you to lose hope as you move forward in your life. You are in a state in which you are about to believe that everything is finished in your life. Today Holy Spirit wants me to tell you that it is not finished. The Lord has heard your prayers. As you have given the particular problem in the hands of God, it is no more yours but it is God’s and no one can put an end to the process which is still in the hands of the Lord says Holy Spirit to you. The Lord is not going to leave you helpless and He is going to definitely do a miracle in your life even though it is far beyond your belief and imagination says Holy Spirit to you.

Jairus came to Jesus having only one petition. He fell at the feet of Jesus and pleaded Him to come to his home to heal his daughter who was dying. Jesus never said no to him. Jesus went with him to perform the miracle but on their way Jairus receives a report and shatters all his hope. Someone from the house of Jairus came and told him that his daughter is dead. It was told to him that it is finished. Its true that his daughter was dead. It would have been a sad ending in his life if Jesus Christ was not with him. It would have been an end if he would not have given his worries and problems in the hands of Jesus Christ.

Bible records what has happened when someone came and told Jairus that his daughter was dead. 

As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, He said to the ruler of the synagogue, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” – Mark 5:36

1.     Jesus heard the word that was spoken

Even today Holy Spirit is saying to you that Jesus Christ has heard all that was spoken against you and your life situation. He has heard the negative reports that was given to you which makes you tremble today. He has heard someone saying to you that you have no future. He has heard everything that has happened in your life. At the same time, he has heard your prayers too.

2.     Do not be afraid; only Believe

You are thinking a lot and worrying about so many things because of what you had heard from that someone. You are thinking hard trying to find a solution through your own strength forgetting that Jesus Christ is standing by your side. Today Holy Spirit says to you that the only thing that you have to do is to believe.

Do not try to take control of the problem which you have already surrendered into the hands of the Almighty God. It is not going to help you. You have to believe and walk with Him. He will take care of everything.

Jairus believed. Jesus restored the life of his daughter. The Lord will have mercy upon you and He will restore all that you had lost says Holy Spirit to you.

but has restored to the debtor his pledge; 

Has robbed no one by violence, 

but has given his bread to the hungry 

and covered the naked with clothing;

If he has not exacted usury nor taken any increase, 

but has withdrawn his hand from iniquity 

and executed true judgment between man and man;

If he has walked in My statutes 

and kept My judgments faithfully-He is just;
He shall surely live!” Says the Lord God.
