COME UP TO ME AND BE WITH ME

Exodus 24:12 “Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

Many a times in our life we long to hear God’s voice but yet we could not hear His voice. Not only you long to hear the voice of God but you also long to preach God’s word to others.

Today Jesus Christ is telling you: “My dear child, come up to Me and be with Me.”

If you have to hear God’s voice and to preach His word to others you have to get closer to God. What will happen when you get closer to God?

The above verse says,”…I will give you the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”

Once you get closer to God, He will give you His commandments to you that you may preach about that to everyone around you.

Even today Jesus Christ wants to speak to you about everything concerning your life and the lives of others. All you have to do is to get closer to God.

I know a great servant of God. Once while preaching he told about his life experience with his dad. In his family he is the one who is so attached to his father. Everyday after returning from the office his father used to make him sit in his lap and used to teach him about so many things. They used to speak for hours together. Being a little guy he was so proud and happy about the love of his father.

There came a day, his school teacher reminded him about the last date for paying fees. The last day to pay the fees came and on that day morning only he remembered about the fees payment and so he ran to his father’s room to ask money. But on that day his father went to office so early.

He knows that unless he pays the fees the school authority will not allow him to attend the class. So he went to his father’s office. From a long distance he saw his father speaking to some people. He thought to himself that once his father sees him he will run to him and will embrace him and ask him about his need.

With this expectation he moved towards his father. As his father saw him, he just ordered one of the people under his authority to go to his son and find out what is needed for him and to do the needful. His father never ran to him at all but he just fulfilled what is needed to his son through another person. 

The servant of God related the incident like this: “Being in private in our home my dad used to speak to me very differently than the way he speaks to me in his office or in other public places. In private, he used to clear all my doubts and teaches about so many things to me. But in public he speaks simple words which just fulfill my needs.

Similarly when God speaks to us in a public meeting he speaks simple words through his servants which fulfill our needs. But if we get closer to Him in private prayer time or Bible reading time, He will teach us so many things and strengthen us to preach His words to others.”

My dear young friends, Jesus Christ want you to come closer to Him. He wants to speak to you. He wants to reveal His heart’s desire to you. You might say that you have no strength to move on in your life. Do not be discouraged. Get closer to Jesus Christ. Pray well. He will strengthen you. He will speak to you and will bless you.

YOU HAD NEVER LET ME DOWN

My Dear Jesus Christ,

You created me with a purpose

I thought I can never fulfill your purpose

You told me to stay with You and assured me that You will help me

I tried to stay with You and You did helped me

You had never let me down.

As days passed, I faced trials and temptations

I could not resist it and I had fallen into the pit

You told me that You will lift me up

As You promised, You lifted me and made me to stand in You

You had never let me down.

Many difficulties I faced

Failures after failures I had met

You told me that You will bless the works of my hands

You blessed me and raised me

You had never let me down.

So many promises I made to You

Not even one I had fulfilled

But yet You are so faithful in Your promises

And You fulfilled all that You had promised

You had never let me down.

All that I gave to You till this day

Was hurt and pain and shame

But all that You gave to me till this day

Was Joy, Peace, Rest and Blessings

You had never let me down.

I might not assure You that

I will never let You down

But I have the assurance that

You will never let me down.

Thank You Jesus, for never letting me down.

TESTIMONY OF A MAM WHOM I KNOW

In the year 2004, God did a great miracle in my life. I had an interview for the post of Lecturer and I got ready for the interview by preparing various subjects. On the day of Interview, I took all my original certificates in a bag and got ready to attend the interview.  To reach the place of interview, myself and my mother got into a town bus carrying the certificate bag. Bus was full of crowd and there was no space even to stand properly. I and my mother were standing in the bus and in order to stand comfortably, I gave my certificate bag to a lady who was sitting in a seat.  We did not even see her face properly.

After crossing certain distance, the bus which we were traveling met with an accident. Suddenly the people inside the bus started getting down to safeguard themselves. We two also got down from the bus in a hurry without getting the bag from that lady. After getting down, we were searching for that lady but we could not find her in the crowd. Without knowing her face we kept on searching here and there, but we could not find her.

My mother started crying and I started praying to Lord Jesus. Filled with lot of faith, I consoled my mother and I said ‘Lord Jesus will bring all the certificates to us. Don’t worry’. But she was not convinced and started scolding me. Then we had decided to go to main bus terminus to search for her.

When we reached main bus terminus, it was filled with crowd but still we started searching her. By god’s grace, within 2 or 3 minutes, we saw a lady carrying my certificate bag. We immediately went to her and we got the certificate bag from her after explaining all the things to her. It’s really a great miracle in my life.

God only made that lady to come in front of us in that large crowd.  I could not even now imagine how the situation will be if I missed all the certificates because I kept all my SSLC, diploma and degree mark sheets and degree certificates in that bag.  I definitely know that Lord Jesus alone gave the certificates back to me. It’s a great miracle in my life and I Praise the Lord for that.

Now by the grace of Jesus Christ I am working as a Assistant Professor in one of the reputed private engineering college in India. I thank God for all the blessing He has given me so far.

Lord who did miracle in my life will surely do miracle in your life too. He will not despise our tearful prayers. God bless you.

MASTER'S VESSEL - AUTHOR UNKNOWN (INSPIRATIONAL POEM)

The Master was searching for a vessel to use;
On the shelf there were many - which one would He choose?

Take me, cried the gold one, I'm shiny and bright,
I'm of great value and I do things just right.
My beauty and lustre will outshine the rest
And for someone like You, Master, gold would be the best!

The Master passed on with no word at all;
He looked at a silver urn, narrow and tall;

I'll serve You, dear Master, I'll pour out Your wine
And I'll be at Your table whenever You dine,
My lines are so graceful, my carvings so true,
And my silver will always compliment You.

Unheeding the Master passed on to the brass,
It was widemouthed and shallow, and polished like glass.

Here! Here! cried the vessel, I know I will do,
Place me on Your table for all men to view.
Look at me, called the goblet of crystal so clear,
My transparency shows my contents so dear,
Though fragile am I, I will serve You with pride,
And I'm sure I'll be happy in Your house to abide.

The Master came next to a vessel of wood,
Polished and carved, it solidly stood.
You may use me, dear Master, the wooden bowl said,
But I'd rather You used me for fruit, not for bread!

Then the Master looked down and saw a vessel of clay.
Empty and broken it helplessly lay.
No hope had the vessel that the Master might choose,
To cleanse and make whole, to fill and to use.

Ah! This is the vessel I've been hoping to find,
I will mend and use it and make it all Mine.
I need not the vessel with pride of its self;
Nor the one who is narrow to sit on the shelf;

Nor the one who is bigmouthed and shallow and loud;
Nor one who displays his contents so proud;
Not the one who thinks he can do all things just right;
But this plain earthy vessel filled with My power and might.

Then gently He lifted the vessel of clay.
Mended and cleansed it and filled it that day.
Spoke to it kindly. There's work you must do,
Just pour out to others as I pour into you.

THE WALL - 12

JESUS CHRIST WILL DEFEND AND SAVE YOU

“For I will defend this city, to save it for My own sake…..” – Isaiah 37:35

You might be going through a toughest path in your life. Your family might be going through problems and tribulations. You might think to run away somewhere because of the situations you are facing. You might think of putting an end to your life.

There is a hope for you my dear friend. Jesus Christ says to you today: “I will defend you and protect you for My own sake.” God’s hand will come upon your life and He will protect you.

Some one might have come against you in your work place and you might be having a fear that you will lose the job. Fear not. God will protect your job.

Your family life might have come to an end but yet you don’t want to end it. Tremble not. God will protect your family life and He will bring peace into it.

You might be worrying about your exams and studies. Do not worry. God will protect your studies and will raise you.

You might be going through a relationship failure and you might be feeling bad because of it. Do not be discouraged. God will save you and will lift you from that pit of depression.

Whatever the situation you might be going through, God’s hand will come upon your life and He will defend and save you.

There was a man from India who started a company which produced anti-virus software. He made Japan as his main center and begun to produce anti virus software. He was a converted Christian. His business flourished all through the world. But one day he faced certain problems in his business and he could not solve the problem. Pressure begun to rise up inside his mind and he could not tolerate the pressure of fear. So one day he decided to sell his entire business.

Another company agreed to buy his company for 170 crore rupees. As he was deciding to sell the company, suddenly he had a thought to pray to God and ask His counsel. So he began to pray earnestly for God’s counsel.

Jesus Christ spoke to him one day through His prophet saying: “My son, do not sell your business to anyone. I will come into your life and will defend you and will protect your business. Surely I will raise you to heights.”

Even though he had a desire to sell it, he decided to obey God’s counsel. Jesus Christ began to bless his business. In the year before his decision to sell the profit turn-over of his business in India was 7 crore. Immediately after the year in which God spoke, the turn-over was 70 crore. He was so surprised to see the blessings of God in his life. This year he is so blessed that he is on the verge of buying two American companies.

There was a day in his life he thought of selling his own company. But Jesus Christ intervened in his life and protected his business and now he is going to buy someone’s company.

My dear young friend, our God is an awesome God. He will change the situation of your life in spur of the moment. He will never leave you helpless. He will come into your life and protect you. Not only He protects you but He will also protect your studies, job, family life, business and everything that belongs to you.

So do not worry for anything. In the coming days you will see Jesus Christ protecting you and blessing you abundantly. He will surely fulfill His promise in your life.
