THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE UPON YOU AND HE SEES YOUR AFFLICTION

“Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope in His mercy” – Psalms 33:18

When Abraham’s wife Sarah had no children, she gave his maid Hagar as wife to Abraham. Soon Hagar conceived and she begun to despise Sarah. When Sarah dealt harshly with Hagar she fled from her presence. 

Hagar ran to the wilderness with no one around her to help her. She was carrying a child as she ran away from Sarah. She had lost the position of being Abraham’s wife. She had lost the protection of being with Abraham’s people. She ran alone. No one was there to stop her and care for her.

Hagar was afflicted but yet God had kept His eyes upon Hagar. God’s promise came to her when she was in the wilderness. The Lord has heard her affliction. Hagar was touched by the love of God and she gave Him a beautiful name which was recorded in Bible. She addressed God as ‘You are the God who sees.’ 

Yes my dear young friends, God sees you. He sees your affliction. He sees your tears. He sees your sorrows. He sees your pain. He sees your loneliness. He sees your wound. He sees everything of yours. And He promises you today that He will make you a great nation. 

My elder brother recently travelled in a train. As he boarded into the train he saw a young couple coming and sitting in the cabin where he was present. They had a very little child. As it was night travel everyone in that cabin went to their berth to sleep. As my brother saw, the father of that little child carefully arranged the berth for his wife and his child. Once they got settled in their berth, instead of going to his berth he sat in front of them and kept his eyes upon them. 

My brother was surprised and he soon slept. After few hours as he had woke up in the middle of his sleep he found that the husband eyes were wide open while his wife and his child was sleeping and he was constantly watching and protecting his young wife and little child. Throughout that journey that father had never slept and He had kept his eyes upon his family. That much he cared for his loved ones.

If an ordinary father could keep his eyes upon his loved ones, How much more your Father in Heaven will keep his eyes upon you and protect you and bless you. 

Hagar walked alone in the wilderness. No one saw her and cared for her. But the Lord almighty saw her and cared for. He will do the same to you.

God’s eyes are upon you. Jesus Christ will answer your prayers and will care for you. You are not alone for God is with you and He will not forsake you.

GOD'S PROMISE FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY'16

DELIVER YOURSELF AND GOD WILL BLESS YOU RICHLY

“Deliver thyself, O Zion, ye that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon. For thus saith the Lord of hosts: After the glory hath He sent me unto the nations which despoiled you, for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye.” – Zechariah 2:7-8

Abraham was staying with his family people and one day the Lord said to him to leave his country, his family and his father’s house to the land which God has planned for him. Then God said to him that He will bless him and make his name great. Genesis 12:4 beautifully says, “So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken to him...”

Abraham obeyed to God’s word in faith and he left his relatives and went to the place where God asked him to go. As God promised Abraham, He made him great. If we read the further chapters of Bible, at certain moments we can see that the Lord addressed himself as Lord of Abraham. The Lord was pleased with Abraham because he obeyed God.

There were times in our life when we fail to receive any blessings at all, we get depressed. We blame God at times and say He is not hearing our prayers and tears. But we fail to analyze whether we are in the right place where God wants us to be. We might be living in a place from where God wants us to move and we might be living in sin which God hates.

Today God wants us to do a self check in His presence. We have to understand and know for sure whether we are exactly in the place where God wants us to be. If you have to receive God’s blessing you have to be in God’s will.

I came across a person who once worked in a MNC company. He was a well experienced person and He always wanted to do God’s will in his life. One fine day he got a call from his friend asking him to join as a CEO of another MNC company and at the same time he got an offer to join as a chief engineer in another organisation. He knew that being a CEO of an MNC company will make his life settled and he can earn more than the other offer he got. So he decided to join as CEO. But the day before his joining date, God interfered and ask him to leave that offer.

He obeyed and joined as chief engineer with a less salary compared to what he might have got being a CEO. But yet today he was blessed in his professional life and also he is doing God’s ministry as he could able to find free time in this job. He obeyed God and so God blessed him and He is blessing other people through him.

My dear young friends, come out of the place which God asks you to come out. Leave the sins which God asks you to leave. Obey God in everything. Deliver yourself from all things that God dislikes. He will make your name great and you will be blessed by God in a glorious way.

GOD'S PERFECT GIFT - 12 (XCD 125 - FIRST BIKE I GOT THROUGH THE SALARY GOD GAVE ME)

“The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him." - Nahum 1:7

Though my dad’s salary was not that big and sufficient, he always tried his best to satisfy our needs. When I and my brothers were in our teen age, we had two cycles in our house. One is for my eldest brother and the other one is for my elder brother. When I grew up they permitted me to use those cycles when it is not in use. I always had a desire to get a motorbike.

Once I had finished my PG degree God gave me a good job. On those days I was staying in a hostel and was depending upon other people for taking me to my workplace and for any purchases in the city. 

I prayed to God for a bike and nearly 7 years ago God helped me to purchase a 125cc bike. 

I could never forget that day when I went to book a bike with the salary that God gave me. Once I paid the money the sales representative asked me to choose a bike from their storage place. As I had chosen a particular bike, God spoke to me through Holy Spirit asking me to kneel down and pray. I just obeyed and knelt down and prayed immediately. The day when I got the bike was a happiest day because that was the first time I got something for myself with my salary. 

FIRST BIKE GOD GAVE ME

 

On the first day after I got the bike, I called a girl who was a great prayer support to me at that time and asked her to pray for God’s protection upon my bike. She prayed and sent an sms to me which I could never forget my life. After much prayer she sent an sms stating how God’s presence will rest upon each parts of the bike and how it will be a blessing to me. The way she brought God’s word on that day was really awesome and it encouraged me a lot. I wish I should have had that sms safe but I lost it and also years back I had lost the contact of that girl. But I sincerely thank God for that girl and her prayers.

As God promised a lot of things through her on that day, He fulfilled it and protected me from all kinds of evil. I had travelled a lot in that bike and only once someone came fast and dashed onto my bike with force but even on that day I had not fallen and there was not even a single crack in the bike though the other person fell down and got hurt badly.

Later after my marriage God gave me a car but yet that bike remained so close to my heart. Few months back for some reasons I sold the bike to someone whom I knew and at this time I want to thank God for the way he protected me whenever I had travelled in that bike. There were times I rode in a stupid way purposefully but even in that time God protected me graciously. 

My dear young friends, God know everything that concerns you. He will give you what you need and He will lead you. He will never forsake you. I am an ordinary guy but yet He know what I need and blessed me with a bike. He protected me and not even once He had forsaken me. He will do that in your life too. You will be blessed. 

I sincerely thank God for that bike and so many pleasant moments he gave me through that bike. Many times I felt God’s love through that bike and God knows why. I thank God for His perfect gift.
