“Jesus said to them, Come and eat breakfast…” – John 21:12
"இயேசு அவர்களை நோக்கி: வாருங்கள், போஜனம்பண்ணுங்கள் என்றார்..."
After the resurrection of
Jesus, on a particular day, Peter decided to go for fishing. Other disciples of
Jesus also joined him. They toiled throughout the night but they could not get
any fish. Jesus appeared to them and told them to cast their nets on the right
side of the boat. Then they had caught multitude of fish. As they reached the
land, Jesus asked them to come and eat the breakfast which He had made for
them.
1. When did Jesus asked
them? Jesus told this once He had made everything ready for them.
At the Cross He had earned
everything for you. Whatever you need, Jesus has it and He is ready to give it
to you. Even today God calls you to come to Him and receive the blessings that
He has in store for you.
2. To whom did Jesus told
this?
a) To those who had caught nothing. (John
21:3)
b) To those who had nothing to eat. (John 21:5)
You might have desperately
toiled for something day and night. But it seems to be out of your reach. You
have not received what you are longing for. You are tired and heartbroken
because you have nothing. It seems like you have lost everything and you have
no strength left in you.
Do not get discouraged. God
will do the battle for you. You shall not be hungry anymore for you will be
satisfied with God's goodness.
3. If you hear God's voice
and obey His words, you will have blessings in abundance in the same place
where you had caught nothing says Holy Spirit to you.
