QUOTES ON TOP

“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

JESUS CHRIST CARES FOR YOU

“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you. - 1 Peter 5:7

There were times in my life I ran to my friends to share my sorrows and pain. But because of the joy that resides in their heart at that moment they could not feel or care about the pain I had in my life.

Today you might be going through such moment where you feel that there is no one to care for you. Do not worry. Jesus Christ cares for you. You might be having any kind of anxiety or sorrow in your life. Cast it upon Him for He cares for you.

Bible doesn’t say that ‘Cast your anxiety on Him’. It says ‘Cast ALL your anxiety on Him’. You can cast any kind of anxiety as well as all your anxiety upon Jesus Christ for He cares for you. You might be anxious about your future marriage life. You might be anxious about your studies, job and family life. You might be anxious about your physical health. Do not get discouraged. You have an Everlasting God who cares for you. Cast all your anxiety on Jesus Christ. He will give you peace for He cares for you.

Many years ago, a servant of God went to minister in a particular city. He had to preach continuously for two weeks. As he had continuous meeting his health got affected and his body became too weak. On the last day of the meeting he has to preach in the evening. Once the morning service got over he thought that the people will come eagerly for God’s word and so God has to give a good message and bless them.

With this thought he went to church to pray for the evening meeting. He prayed for five minutes and then without his knowledge he fell asleep. After some time he woke up hearing sounds of prayer. Then he found that he slept for few hours. His heart was filled with sorrow that he failed to pray well before preaching. He cried to God telling how he will preach.

Finally as the time of preaching came, he told to himself that he will pray and finish without preaching anything. As he started praying, Holy Spirit came upon him mightily and he preached God’s word with authority and power for nearly one and half hours.

Many got blessed through the message and once he finished preaching he ran to God’s presence and asked God with tears that how could He did mighty things through him that day though he didn’t prayed well. Then Lord spoke to him and said, “My dear son, I know that you are tired and your body was so weak and you did My ministry continuously for two weeks. I thought that you should take rest atleast for few hours and so only I gave you a deep peaceful sleep.”

When that servant of God heard the words of Jesus Christ he wept with thanks thinking how much care Jesus Christ have upon His children.

My dear young friends, Jesus Christ cared even for the simple tiredness of that servant of God. Even today, He cares for you. Jesus Christ knows that you are facing a storm in your life. He knows that you are facing a trouble in your work place and marriage life. He knows your tiredness and weakness. You might have weakness in your Spiritual life. Whatever might be your problem, cast all your anxieties upon Jesus Christ for He cares for you.

There is no need for you to carry the burden. Put it in the presence of God. Jesus Christ cares for you and He will carry you. God bless you.

10 WAYS YOU ARE BEING UNFAITHFUL TO YOUR WIFE - WRITTEN BY GARY AND JOY LUNDBERG (TAKEN FROM A FORWARDED MAIL)

Having an affair is not even on your radar. Never gonna happen. You love your spouse and you'd never be unfaithful to her or him. However, you may be unaware of other ways you are being unfaithful. If these actions continue, you may find yourself on the slippery slope that leads to that never-intended affair and a sorrow you never wanted in your life.

Unfaithfulness usually creeps in through the back door, disguising itself as harmless fun or innocent behavior. If you want your marriage to endure and be filled with happiness you may need to check this list to see if you have fallen prey to any of these unfaithful behaviors.

1. Flirting
Having a little playful fun at the office with a co-worker can't be too bad, you may rationalize. After all, flirting is fun. Avoid it like the plague. It's dangerous. If someone flirts with you, ignore it. What falls into the category of flirting? Here's one explanation of what flirting is. "[It] usually involves speaking and behaving in a way that suggests a mildly greater intimacy than the actual relationship between the parties would justify, though within the rules of social etiquette, which generally disapproves of a direct expression of sexual interest. This may be accomplished by communicating a sense of playfulness or irony... Body language can include flicking the hair, eye contact, brief touching, etc."

Married people should never engage in this type of behavior with anyone other than their spouse. It is a full-on form of unfaithfulness that leads to no good. The one you're flirting with may take it as an invitation and pursue a relationship you never intended.

2. Confiding in the opposite gender
When you pour out your troubles to someone of the opposite gender you are putting yourself in a vulnerable position. It may seem harmless. After all, you just needed a shoulder to cry on. If you've got a problem, talk about it with your spouse. That's your best-ever shoulder to cry on. If that's not working for you, try a trusted relative, clergyman, or therapist. Not someone who may consider this an invitation for intimacy. Even if it doesn't start that way, too often it ends that way. It's a form of unfaithfulness.

3. Spending time alone with someone else
What appears to be an innocent lunch out with someone of the opposite sex or stopping by for a chat at that someone's home without your spouse is definitely in the category of unfaithful behavior. You or the other person may say, "Hey, we're both adults. Nothing's going to happen." Well, things do happen. It's not appropriate. Go home and spend that time with your spouse.

4. Talking negatively about your mate
When you are a true friend to someone you never say bad things about them to others. Your mate is your best friend and is the last person you should ever talk about negatively. If you have a beef with your honey, talk it out with him or her. Let your conversations with others focus on the good things about your spouse. That's being faithful. The exception here is abuse. If abuse is happening it needs to be reported to a trusted friend, counselor, and the police. You must keep yourself safe.

5. Chatting on the Internet with someone of the opposite sex
If you think this is harmless, think again. It may start out that way, but it definitely won't end that way. Some have engaged in what they considered innocent talk with a former boyfriend or girlfriend from high school or college days, or even a stranger. One thing can lead to another and before you know it, your marriage is in jeopardy. Don't do it. It will only end in sorrow and heartbreak for your family.

6. Dressing to attract the attention of someone other than your spouse
If you're dressing up to look good for someone else, you need to reexamine your motives. Trying to attract someone else by wearing a sexy looking outfit is one more way to jump into unfaithful waters.

7. Writing personal intimate notes or letters to someone else
If you're writing a letter of condolence or congratulations, or other good wishes, let it be from both you and your spouse. Then there will be no misunderstanding about your intentions.

8. Not being a willing sexual partner with your spouse
Being faithful to your spouse means giving yourself over to him or her to enjoy the intimate side of your marriage. To withhold sexual intimacy from your spouse if not doing your part in keeping your marriage strong and fulfilling. It creates sorrow and even suspicion. Being a faithful spouse means doing your part to make it a beautiful relationship in all aspects.

9. Putting your parents before your spouse
Your spouse must always be the number one person in your life. If something wonderful happens to you, like a promotion, a confirmation of a pregnancy, or any other good news, you may be tempted to immediately call a parent to share in the joy. Resist. Let your spouse be the first to know your good news. Then share it with others.

10. Putting your children before your spouse
Kids matter. They are very important people in your life, but not more important than your spouse. If you knock your spouse off the top of your priority list you are not showing total fidelity to him or her. Your mate must come first. Not only does it cement your marriage and make it stronger, it gives your children the best security blanket they will ever have.

Check yourself on these points and make sure you are being 100 percent faithful to your spouse. By doing this you will create a genuinely happy and fulfilling marriage

GOD WILL BLESS YOU BY GIVING YOU A CHILD - TESTIMONY BY MY WIFE

“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!" - II Corinthians 9:15

Praise be to God. I got married in the month of August’12. In the beginning month of 2013, Jesus Christ has promised me through a prophet of God saying that He will give me a heritage. Since it was God’s word, every month I was longing to have a child but there was no positive result. In the month of October 2013, I went to a hospital with much hope that I was pregnant and was eager to take few test to know the result. But the doctor over there directly told me that I have some problem in my womb and so it cannot be a child. Also she told me that I will never get conceived till the problem was healed.

My heart was completely shattered when I came to know that I will not get pregnant. She gave me some medicines and I ate that regularly for few days. But it caused severe side effects in my body. So I stopped that. Then I decided that I am not going to take any further treatment and I started clinging onto God’s promise asking Him to bless me with a child.

Jesus Christ saw my tears and He heard my prayers. As He promised, He gave me His grace to get pregnant in the month of December’13 and nearly after 40 days in the mid January, I came to know that I was pregnant.

Since it was my first pregnancy period, I was filled with fear that whether I will get a normal delivery or I have to undergo surgery. Many thought that I will undergo surgery. But God stood by my side and He enabled me to have normal delivery. Though the pain was too high on the day of delivery, God carried me safely and today I and my daughter both were fine by the grace of God.

You might be crying for months that you have no child. Do not worry. Jesus Christ will give you His heritage. Bible says in Psalms 127:3, “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord...”

As God has blessed me abundantly, He will bless you more than that. Jesus Christ will wipe away your tears and He will bless you according to your heart’s desire.

JESUS CHRIST IS GREATER THAN YOUR PROBLEMS AND NOTHING IS TOO HARD FOR HIM

“Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You." - Jeremiah 32:17

Today you might be facing a problem that is so big to you and you might be struggling hard to come out of it. All you have to do is to run to God’s presence trusting Him and knowing that He is so greater than your problems.

In Luke 8, we read about a man named Jairus. He was a ruler of the synagogue. His only daughter was dying. She was twelve years old. As his daughter was dying, he had several options to choose. He might have run to a physician or to any one to find what will happen to his daughter. But what he did was so different. He left his only daughter who is dying and came to Jesus Christ begging Him to come to his house. Though his daughter’s problem was big, he believed that Jesus Christ is greater than the problem and He can do everything. As he kept his trust on Jesus Christ, his daughter got life and his family was filled with peace and joy.

In the same chapter, we read about a woman who has a blood flow for twelve long years got healed. She was having the problem for twelve long years. She had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any one. She had not spent a part of her livelihood. Bible clearly says that she had spent all her livelihood to get a healing but yet she could not be healed by anyone. Her problem was a greater one. She was facing that problem for more than a decade and spent everything for that but yet she could not come out of the problem. She might have thought that there is no hope for her. But one day she decided to run to Jesus Christ for her healing. She ran and touched the hem of the garment of Jesus Christ. On that very moment she got the healing. The problem that she was facing for several years vanished in a moment. She saw Jesus Christ as the one Who is greater than her own problem.

Today you might be facing a toughest problem. You might be in the verge of facing death. You might say that the problem is going to take your life soon. It might be a problem in your marriage; it might be a problem in your body; it might be a problem in your workplace or it might be a sin that troubles you. Do not get discouraged.

All you have to do is to run to Jesus Christ. All this days you had thought that your problems are so bigger and greater that no one could help you. It’s true that your problem is bigger. It’s true that no human can help you. But you have to know that God is bigger than your problem. People around you might not be able to help you. Jesus Christ will help you for nothing is too hard for Him.

As you run to His presence with your problems, He will give you rest and peace. He will fight for you. With His outstretched mighty arm, He will demolish all that troubles you and will give you a new life. You will have a new beginning says Jesus Christ to you.

Do not worry about what has happened in your past. Do not think about how long you are suffering with the sickness and troubles. Do not lose hope seeing the situations around you. Just look to Jesus Christ. Pour out your entire problem and the troubles in His feet. You will have a new beginning and a new life filled with God’s blessing and peace.

Jesus Christ is greater than all that troubles you and nothing is too hard for Him. Trust Him and you will be blessed.

JESUS CHRIST WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS

I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” – John 14:18

There were times when we go through tough times, we feel alone doubting about God’s presence in our life. Today you might be going through such path. Jesus Christ is promising you today that He will not leave you as orphan. He will come to you to comfort you and bless you.

In John 5th Chapter we read about a man who was sick for thirty eight years was lying by the side of Bethesda pool. He was in a desperate need to be healed. He explains his condition in John 5:7, “The sick man answered, “Sir, I don't have anyone here to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.”

The sick man was facing a tough situation for several years. He was in a need but yet he says that he don’t have anyone to help him to come out of the situation. He was left orphan by his household and his relatives. No one bothered about his healing. Everyone around him was busy looking after their own needs. He was in a pathetic state left all alone.

Though people had left him, Jesus has not left him orphan. He came to him. John 5:6 says, “When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time..."

Jesus Christ who knew the condition and the feelings of that sick man, came to him and healed him. Jesus Christ who did that miracle in the sick man’s life will do it today in your life.

For years you might be facing a problem. It might be a sin, family problem or financial problem. Whatever might be the problem, today Jesus Christ will enter into your life to set you free from the problem that troubles you. You might think that Jesus Christ doesn’t care about your worries and struggles. You are wrong. Jesus Christ knew your condition. He knew your situation. He knew your weakness. He knew what troubles you for a long time.

Today He wants to set you free. All you have to do is put your troubles in the feet of the Lord for He cares for you.

Few years back, when my mother got cancer she used to pray with tears in the midnight telling God that she was all alone in that path. Everyone of our family felt the same but we could not share our worries with each other. My mother was the one who got affected so much. She feared to face the various treatments and surgery. She feared that she will die without seeing my marriage.

One day Jesus Christ spoke to her directly saying, “I am with you. I will never leave you and I will never forsake you. Nothing will harm you my child.”

Hearing the words of Jesus Christ my mom’s heart was filled with so much comfort and joy. She went through the surgery and various treatments putting her trust in Jesus Christ. As God promised His mighty presence stayed with my mom at all times and today she is completely fine and in good health. God gave His grace to her to see the daughter He gave to me.

My dear young friend, you will not die. Your own eyes will see God’s mighty hands doing mighty things in your life. You will receive miracles. You will be comforted. Jesus Christ will never leave you orphan. As long as you live, Jesus Christ will be with you to bless you and carry you. So do not get discouraged. Jesus Christ will never leave you nor forsake you. God bless you
