“Can a woman forget
her nursing child, and not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they
may forget, yet I will not forget you.” – Isaiah 49:15
Your parents might not have loved
you as you had expected and desired. Because of that you might be going through
depression and sorrow in your life. Jesus Christ says to you today, “I will be
a Father to you and I will carry you. Your parents might have forgotten you but
surely I will never forget you.”
Recently I heard about the testimony
of an aged man. When he was a little kid his parents had some fight between
them and they got separated. Soon his father and mother married some other
person. As his parents left him all alone his grandfather took him and begun to
raise him. His father had a large estate and so he grew in a well settled
family but yet he longed for the love of his parents. When he was ten years old
his dad came and took him under his care. But his dad’s second wife didn’t like
him at all and so she tortured him daily.
Hearing this, his grandfather came
and took him along with him. When he was 20 years old someone told about the
place where his mother lives. He rushed to her to be in her presence for some
days but she asked him not to return to her again at any time. He doesn’t know
what to do. In the mean time his grandfather sold the large estate to someone
in a cheap price and then he got mentally affected and left home. So this guy
had no one left in the world.
Several thoughts flooded in his mind
but at that time he accepted Jesus Christ as his saviour and begun to love God
with all his heart. He surrendered everything at the feet of the God and prayed
for a miracle. Soon God opened the way and he got a job in a Christian
organization which does God’s work for full time. The man of God who was the
head of the organization welcomed him and showed the love of God to him. He
found a girl for him and got him married.
For the past 23 years he was working
on the same organization and now he has a wife and also two loving children. He
told in his testimony that he had tasted the love of his mother for only 2 days
and the love of father only for 5 years but yet Jesus Christ showed him true
love and affection which he can never forget in his life.
His parents left him. He longed for
love. Jesus Christ showed him true love and carried him in His hands thus far.
My dear young friends, your parents
might have got divorced and went away in their own ways and you might be alone
today. Do not get discouraged and depressed. Jesus Christ loves you. If you
accept Him as your Father, He will guide you, carry you and protect you.
Your parents might not have loved
you as you had thought of. So you might have gone behind worldly love and you
might have lost everything. Do not worry. Jesus Christ will give you back all
that you lost. He will give you His love, His care and His affection. If you come
to Him, He will bless you richly.
You might have parents but yet they
might be fighting all the time and they might not bother about you at all. Do
not lose hope. If you seek Jesus Christ with all your heart, He will give you
His peace that you are longing for.
My dear young friends, your sister
might not love you truly; your brother might not love you truly; your friends
might have ditched you; your relatives might laugh at you; your life partner
might not understand you; let not your heart suffer for Jesus Christ is there
for you to love you and to carry you in His arms.
Come to Him all who are weary. He
will give you His peace, His rest and His joy. His love will satisfy you and
you will be blessed abundantly. God bless you.
