QUOTES ON TOP

“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

SWEET MARRIAGE - 5 (DO NOT LET ANYONE DECEIVE YOU)

“...The woman said, ‘The serpent deceived me, and I ate.’” – Genesis 3:13

God had a plan about Adam and Eve. He instructed them what they should do and what they should not do. Everything in their life went well till Eve listened to the words of the serpent. When God asked her about the things she did, she replied that the serpent deceived her.

Eve let the serpent to deceive her. As a result she and her husband got into trouble. Adam pointed his fingers towards Eve when God asked him whether he ate the fruit of the tree which He commanded not to eat. Adam could not stand by the side of his wife. Their relationship went into trouble.

I know a couple who were spiritually grown and loved God in all their ways. When they were about to get married, everyone around them thought that will make a best pair for they both were good. They started their marriage life in a happy way. Soon few numbers of people joined as a group with each other and advice them for different reasons.

The wife began to share the happenings of her marriage life with her sister and other people. The husband began to share the things with one of his friend. Unfortunately both of them got deceived by those around them. Their advices led to the separation between the husband and wife. Within few days they got separated and their marriage life ended in a miserable way.

My dear young friends, do not let anyone deceive you. When God unites you in a marriage life, remember He has a great plan about your life. You should trust God and your spouse more than others. You should not let anyone deceive you by their words or action.

Bible says in Proverbs 31:30 that Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain. Not only words but someone’s charm and beauty may deceive you. You should be careful while talking and being with someone other than your spouse. You should learn to appreciate the beauty of your wife.

Do not get into unnecessary relationship with anyone. Do not listen to the ungodly advice of other people. Do not let anyone deceive you by their words or beauty. You are God’s child and God wants you to glorify Him through your marriage life. You are called to bring glory to God’s name. Stay with God and your spouse. You will have God’s peace.
