FEELING HAPPY

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." - Philippians 4:13

For the past few months I had not posted articles regularly in the blog which actually made me feel guilty. I knew I have started this blog according to God’s word and when I failed to do regular updation it saddens me. 

Many years before once I visited a secular blog and the author who publish article in that blog said that he has 60 draft article ready in his inbox so that he can publish daily even if he gets busy with his official work. To be frank, I have no draft article in my blog inbox. I always had a question that if a guy who writes secular articles can publish daily why can’t we do that by the grace of God?

So when this month had started I told in my heart to God that I should publish articles daily through His grace. And as we reached the end of this month I am so happy to see that God gave His grace to publish articles daily in the blog. For the past 5 years I had never done that and when it happened this month I really feel happy and I thank God for His grace. I know I am an ordinary guy but yet God is using me for His glory. I really thank God for leading me to write articles for His glory. 

I can’t assure you that hereafter I will post article daily. But one thing I learnt is through Christ we can do anything. He is a God who strengthen us and work through us. All we have to do is to yield completely to Him. He will strengthen you and do mighty things through you. 

Hereafter I will try my best to post article regularly. God bless you and please do pray for me. Your prayers are really valuable.

LORD WILL RESCUE YOU FROM THE HANDS OF YOUR ENEMY

“The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine...” - 1 Samuel 17:37

 

David was a shepherd boy and had spent most of his time keeping his father’s sheep. Being a shepherd is not a dangerous job. But yet once he faced a lion and another instant he faced a bear. He might have thought why he was facing such problems in his life. 

God had a plan in David’s life. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep, David ran behind that and killed it and saved the sheep. But he doesn’t know about God’s plan regarding his life. 

He might have thought that he was facing struggles in his life for no reason. But God was equipping him step by step giving him success against lion and bear, so that when he faces Goliath later he will face him with courage trusting God’s strength. 

There were so many army men of Israel standing and facing the challenge given by Goliath but no one had the courage to fight with him. Everyone was hiding behind but little David confronted Goliath with courage and faith upon God. 

Because he knew that the God who saved him from the earlier troubles will save him from the hands of Goliath. God honoured his faith and David killed Goliath and later became the King. 

Sometimes in your life, you might not understand why God is taking you through tough times. You might not know the plan that God has for you. 

My dear young friend, God is preparing you for a battle ahead after which you will be raised. He will be with you as you face struggles and troubles. He will strengthen you in such a way that you will not tremble even before bigger problems. When everyone around you will fear, you will stand with courage and God will raise you above everyone. 

God has a plan about your life; A plan to prosper you and give you goodness. He is a God who teaches your hands to war. He will train you to face the struggles with faith. No one can come against you all the days of your life. You will overcome the problem that you are facing right now and the problems that you will be facing in the future. God will be your strength and you will not be shaken. Jesus Christ will raise you and bless you.  

PRAY FOR AMERICA

“Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man." - Genesis 2:22

Few days before the US Supreme Court legalised the gay marriage in America. Today I saw few newspapers carried the news that few gays married in USA with joy. I felt so sad when I had read that news. How sad will the heart of God be?

Once United States of America changed its slogan and motto to ‘In God we trust.’ It produced great missionaries and servant of God and now it is turning away from God. Where it started and where it is going?

There were so many nations who had forgotten God faced the wrath of God. When God decided to make a suitable helper to Adam, He created Eve and brought her to Adam. It is God’s decision and command that a man should marry woman. 

We have to pray for America. We have to pray for homosexuals living across the world. It’s necessary. The responsibility lies upon us who knew God and His commandments. We should not run away from this responsibility. We have to share God’s burden in prayer. 

You might be reading this from USA. Remember, Supreme Court might legalize the gay marriage but that doesn’t mean that you can do that. God’s word was against it and God will judge you according to His word. So get away from this sin. But love those who were caught in the sin and pray for them. God loves sinners and we should pray for them. 

Pray for America and the countries where gay marriage is legalized. God should not show His wrath upon these nations. They should turn back to God. Pray and save America.

"If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31

You have so many people around you, but still you feel you are all alone? You feel no one cares about you anymore? Your own family dejected you? You feel like you are of no use to anybody? You had faith on God, but not now, because you are constantly chewing the problem you face now and the way you keep thinking about it actually makes it so bigger day by day? Facing dreadful situations? You may have no way or a few ways to escape. But God has infinite ways for your escape.

You may think only weapons and arrows are needed for wars, but for God, winning a big battle is possible even with empty clay pots and trumpets. (Gideon in Judges 7) You may wonder how you are going to break down the huge walls you see in front of you. God can just use shouts to bring it down to the ground. (Joshua in Joshua 7) When you are scared of the mighty warriors and don’t have enough courage to face them in the battlefield, God can bring down hails from Heaven and destroy the enemy altogether. (Israelites in Joshua 10) You are frightened at giants like Goliath, but God can kill them with just a sling shot. (David in 1 Samuel 17) Today you are scared to be in the den with a hungry lion, but God can shut its mouth. (Daniel in Daniel 6) Maybe you are thrown into fire for standing for God, but God Himself can step into the fire with you and keep even your hair and robe from burning. (Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in Daniel 3) You may have nothing to survive. But God can use 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes to feed 5000+ men and still can take the 12 baskets of leftovers. (Crowd in Luke 9) There are many other miracles which are recorded in the Bible.

God chooses lowly things and does wonders. So be glad about your weaknesses, because those are the areas where you are going to see His enormous strength!

Well, but there is something which you need to do. “Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for us.” In Don Moen’s song “He never sleeps” he says, “This is more than a promise; it’s a command.” Yes, it is a command. Do you realize how big your God is? Even your mountain like problems are very small for Him, yet, He doesn’t leave you abandoned so you can handle it all alone, because, He knows it is too big for you to handle it your way. So He comes to your aid to handle it His way. If you don’t believe this, just think about those times you thought your heart was going to collapse, but God sustained you through all that and kept you safe until now.

If God is on our side, it doesn’t matter who is on the other side! You don’t have to fight the battle. Just stay on His side and watch Him fighting for you!!

SWEET MARRIAGE - 7 (DO EVERYTHING IN GOD'S WAY)

“...As for me, the Lord has led me on the journey to the house of my master’s relatives.” – Genesis 24:27

Abraham called his servant and asked him to go his relatives to find a bride for Isaac. As his servant reached the town of Nahor, he prayed to God to direct him. As he prayed, God directed him to find Rebekah and then he says, “Lord has led me on the journey.”

What a wonderful servant he his! He is the senior servant in Abraham’s household. He knew Abraham for many years. He might have taken his own decision as per the suggestions given by Abraham. But yet as he reached the town he prayed to God to direct his ways. 

Few months back, one of my colleague got married. I knew him for few years and he is younger than me. So once his parents started to find a bride for him, he used to share those things with me. He loves my advice and he hears to that with full attention. As his marriage got fixed I gave him so many advices about how he should behave with his wife and their family and so on. 

One day as I was getting ready in my home to go to my work place, I thought about him and the talk that I should give him regarding marriage. He didn’t asked me anything on that day but I wanted to give him few advices from my marriage life. So as I was thinking about what I should tell him on that day, Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “Let him do everything in God’s way and not on your way.”

At that moment I realized my mistake for taking him away from God by giving him my own advices. From that day I had never gave any suggestions to him regarding his marriage life. Today he is taking his own decisions in prayer and living happily with his wife. 

Sometimes when we meet Godly people, we hear to their life experiences and the way God has led them. Then we try to implement the same thing in our life but we fail to find that whether it is actually God’s way. 

God might have had led me in a particular way in my marriage life. That doesn’t mean that the same way will be God’s way for your marriage life. God might direct you in a different path. So whenever you face troubles, challenges and decision making situations, you have to do it only in God’s way. When you hear the counsel of elderly people or married people, take their counsel to God in prayer and find out whether God’s way matches with their way. If it doesn’t match go in God’s way. 

My dear young friends, you might be searching a life partner for you. Pray and do it in God’s way. You might be already married. Do everything in God’s way. Then you will have God’s peace and joy in your marriage life. You will have abundant blessing. As you live according to God’s will, you will find God’s hand leading and protecting your family life. Let’s do everything in God’s way.
