QUOTES ON TOP

“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

NO ONE CAN TROUBLE YOU HEREAFTER. GOD WILL GIVE YOU HIS PEACE

“When He giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when He hideth His face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only” – Job 34:29

In 1 Samuel 1st chapter, we read about the life of Hannah. Her rival Peninnah had children but Hannah had no children. 5th verse of that chapter says that Lord has closed her womb.

There were times in our lives God interferes and closes a door for a reason. We have to stay in His presence and find out what He expects us to do. God has planned to make her first born as a prophet. For that He knew that she has to come to His presence and give her firstborn to Him. He had a great plan and so He closed her womb.

Hannah was provoked and afflicted by Penninah. That made her life so miserable. Hannah wept bitterly. The love of her husband could not comfort her and wipe her tears away.

One day she ran to the presence of God and prayed by making a vow in the presence of God. Her prayer brought God’s peace and blessing into her life. Lord remembered Hannah and opened her womb.

God heard her prayer and decided to bless her. From that day onwards no one would have troubled her. When He gives quietness and peace, who then can make trouble? If we imagine what would have happened later it will be interesting. God gave Samuel to Hannah and he became a prophet for God’s people. The children of Penninah would have also grown up. They might have had ran to Samuel to hear God’s word. What a blessing Hannah got! Once she was provoked and afflicted by her rival. God blessed Hannah and situation changed.

This is what God is promising you today. Someone might be provoking and afflicting you. Because of them you might be crying hard daily. Today God says to you that the path you are going through is temporary and the situation will change. Even now God wants you to know that He is in control of your life’s situation. Today you might be filled with sorrow. But yet God is in control of the situation.

Pour out your tears in God’s presence. He will remember you and bless you. His peace will flow into your life and then no one can trouble you. He will fight for you and bless you. You will be blessed and filled with God’s peace. You will not cry anymore. Your life will be filled with happiness. Do not get discouraged. Surely your life situation will be changed and you will be blessed. God will not forsake you. He has a plan about your life and He will fulfill that in your life.
