QUOTES ON TOP

“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

GOD WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE TO HURT YOU

“Surely he will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence." - Psalm 91:3

Few weeks back I took my little daughter to a park. She wanted to play in a slider and so I placed her in the top of the slider so that she can slide and reach the ground. It was a small slider and so I was standing on the side and holding her. All in a sudden an elderly girl came from top and was about to hit my daughter. I asked her to wait but she never responded but came quickly towards my daughter. My daughter was a little girl compared to that elderly girl. Somehow I stopped that girl and took my daughter in my hands.

After some time, I found no one was there in the top of the slide and so I kept my daughter in the middle. My daughter slowly came towards the ground and as I was about to pick her up, again that elderly girl came so fast in the slide and before I could react she had hit my daughter. Being a very little girl my daughter was afraid and she got so much of pain.

I usually won’t get angry immediately. But at that moment when that elderly girl came towards my girl knowingly and had hit her, the very thought that came to my mind was to drag that girl and slap her. I got so much angry that I want to beat that girl. But I did nothing as she was also a young girl. I just took my little daughter and came out of that park.

As I was walking towards our car, Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “If you an ordinary Father cares so much for the child that God gave you, how much more He will care for His own children. If someone hurts His children, God gets so furious upon them and He will fight with them and guard His children.”

Even today as I was playing with my little daughter in our home, all that we say to her is not to get hurt by going fast or falling down. We care for our child and we don’t want her to get hurt.

My dear young friend, God also doesn’t want you to get hurt by anything. He promises you today that He will protect you.

Someone might be hurting you for so long. Do not get discouraged. More than the way you get angry upon that particular person, God is furious upon that person. You don’t need to do anything. Just give that person to God’s hands. He will fight for you and protect you. Even today God says to you that you have not perished because He is protecting you.

Sometime you think that God has not done anything in that particular situation that you are facing. But God says to you that He is the one who is sustaining you even now and that is the only reason that you can able to go through the tough situation without breaking down. And God also says that He will not let anyone destroy your life and the blessings He has for you. God will change your life situations.

Remember, God doesn’t want you to get hurt by anyone or anything. He will guard your Body, Spirit and Soul. He will protect you, your family and all of your belongings. You will live.

LOOKING BACK (WITH THANKS) - 9 (GOD'S TOGETHERNESS FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS)

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” – Psalms 23:4

When someone grew up in life all he expects or desire to have is caring parents, good relationships and best blessings. In my life God has given every best thing without me asking for it. I got an unselfish parents, loving brothers, caring wife and all other relationships that God gave in my life were best.

I knew God is with me and I rate that as a best blessing in my life. There were certain people who stayed with me for few years told me that being with me was the toughest thing that they experienced in their life. Certain time my wife also feels like that as she finds so hard to get adapt to my behaviour and reactions.

But for the past 32 years I have done so many things against God. I had left his love for many years. I did all things that he had asked me not to do. I never obeyed his words and I had never listened to Him. I had humiliated Him in all possible ways.

But yet Jesus Christ loved me so much and stayed with me and even today He is with me. Not even once He had spoken about my bad past. People around me always spoke about my weakness and the way that I am failing to fulfill their expectations. But God never spoke about my weakness. At all instant, all that He did was He loved me truly and deeply.

If God had left me, long back I would have died. I am not a good son or servant to God. He knew that I need Him so much. I had never asked Him but yet He knew. He knew that I will perish if He takes His hand out of my life. With His loving grace He patiently loved me and even today I can say that I am not at all worthy of His love.

Few days back two different persons came to me and asked that why can’t I complete certain plans God gave to me. Yeah I knew that very well. I am still struggling to do certain things God gave me according to His will. God wants me to do certain things fast and I am doing that dead slow.

People see that and ask questions. But God is still so patient with me. He still waits and He gives me more chances. For the past few months I am not posting article regularly in the blog. Though God ask me to write so many things, I am struggling and failing to obey His word completely.

But yet as I write this I could feel God’s love that is present in my life right now. He still loves me and He is with me.

When I see my little daughter, I could understand the trust that God has upon me. At every point of my life, God kept somebody and through them He had led me beautifully.

When I look back the past 32 years of my life I can never say that God has failed to do certain things. He has done everything best in my life. In His time He gave beautiful things in my life.

These days I am not asking God for anything because He already gave best things to me.He had taken me to several places to share His word for which I am not at all worthy. He is still using me for His glory.

In Bible we read about the prodigal son. Once he returns back to his Father, he tells, ‘I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired servants.’

In my life I can’t even say like that because I am neither worthy to be called His son nor His servant. But yet He still loves me and He is with me.

I thank God for everything He has done in my life for the past 32 years. Continue to pray for me that I have to do everything according to His will.

GOD WILL WIPE AWAY EVERY TEAR FROM YOUR EYES

“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” – Revelation 21:4

Recently I heard a testimony about a servant of God named Cruz. He got affected by a life threatening terrible disease and many had thought that he will die. Few parts of his organs were removed. But one day when he was in his death bed, Jesus Christ appeared to him and healed him completely.

Once a servant of God was taken to heaven.  As he was standing in front of God, he saw a bowl filled with water like substance. He asked God about it. Then God said to him, my son this was nothing but the tears shed by several servants of God for my son Cruz. Then the servant of God saw another big jar filled with tears. Again he asked God about it. Then God said to him that it was the tears of the wife of My son Cruz. God continued saying that He has saw the tears of everyone and so He is going to heal His son Cruz. And then only God appeared to Cruz and healed him.

Cruz never knew that his wife cried for him because she never cries in front of him. She used to go to bathroom and open all the taps. As water begun to pour out in force and the noise level increases, she used to cry loudly there so that her husband who is lying in the bed with a terrible disease will not hear her cry and feel sad. She did this for several days. No one knew about that but yet God saw her tears. He heard her prayers and healed her husband. Today they are doing God’s ministry powerfully in several places.

As God wiped away their tears from their life, He will do it in your life too. He will remove your sorrows, pain and crying. You will be filled with His peace.

In John chapter 11, we read about two sisters who lost their precious brother. They were filled with tears as their loving brother died because of sickness. But then Jesus Christ came to them, saw their tears, wept with them and did a miracle in their life. Jesus raised Lazarus from dead. Their sorrow was turned to joy.

In 1 Samuel chapter 1, we read about a woman named Hannah. She had no child. She went into the presence of God and wept badly. God saw her tears and remembered her and blessed her with a child.

My dear young friends, you might be going through sorrow, pain and sickness. Your life might be filled with tears. Do not get discouraged.

God is seeing your tears. He knew your pain. He hears your prayers. He is not going to leave you hurt. He is not going to let anything hurt you anymore. God will answer your prayers. Your sorrow and pain will be taken off from your life. Jesus Christ will never forsake you. Your past sins and troubles is not going to hurt you anymore. Jesus Christ will heal your inner mind and heart. He has forgiven your sins. Rejoice. You will receive blessings and an answer for your tears says God to you.

LYRICS THAT TOUCHED MY HEART - 18 (WRITTEN BY M.E. BARBER)

M.E. BARBER (1866-1929)

 Can you be obedient
  To the Lord of all,
Though the earth should totter,
  Though the heavens should fall?
Face even a disaster
  With a faith-filled heart,
Knowing naught can harm him
  Who with Christ will start?

Can you be obedient
  To the Lord you serve,
Never even flinch, friend,
  Never even swerve;
Though your next step onward
  Seem to lead to death?
Can you then obey Him
  Without bated breath?

Can you trust your Leader
  When He bids you go
Right into a battle
  With a mighty foe?
Can you step up briskly
  And with joy obey?
Can you fight the battle,
  Till the end of day?

Can you? Then beloved,
  Christ just waits for you;
Listen for His orders,
  Glad His will to do;
Then when soldiers muster
  At the set of sun,
And your name is mentioned,
  Christ will say, “Well done.”
