ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD - TESTIMONY OF MRS. MERLIN MERCY

Praise be to God! I had completed my PG studies in the year 2010. I asked God to give me a job in the teaching field. My desire is to get a job in some place other than my native place. I prayed a lot that I should not get a job in my native place. But in an unexpected way I got an interview from a college which was very near to my home. I attended the interview and got selected. My parents were so happy because the salary in good and that too it was very near to our home. 

I also took it as God’s plan and I have joined there. I started working there for some days and then I realized that the college environment was very difficult to work. Being a fresher I went through mental torture, presenting the topics to director, chief and to some other authorities. Everyday I used to go to my home and study like a student. 

I cried to my parents that the college environment was very difficult to work. Later my parents understood my problem and asked me to give resignation. In that college, many of them used to resign for these kinds of tortures. When some one resigns immediately they will not be able to get the certificates. The college authorities make the people to go to court to get the certificate. So the people who were working there told me that I can’t resign because I worked there only for few days. They also told that if I resign I have to give my 3 months salary and even then I won’t be get my certificates. They also told me that there is no option left but to work there. 

With so much of sorrow in my heart I prayed to Jesus Christ to do a miracle in that issue. I cried a lot in His presence saying, “Lord, It is impossible for a man to help me in this issue but it is possible for you to do this. Help me to come out of this college with my certificates.” Lord spoke to me saying, “I will get you out from this college and I will give you a job in a place according to your heart’s desire.”

On hearing Lord’s answer my heart filled with a great peace and joy. I was so happy and the next day I went with my dad to that college and we spoke with the director. Through God’s grace the director permitted me to get relieved from the job and few days later I got my certificates back without any problem.

Even today you might be facing a tough situation. Do not get discouraged. Bible says in Matthew 19:26, “…With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Yeah! To men it might be impossible but to our Lord it is possible. Jesus Christ will remove all the problems that you are facing in your life and will give you victory. You will get your heart’s desire.

GUEST ARTICLE - 4 (MARRIAGE - A SPECIAL GIFT FROM THE LORD)

Proverbs 18:22 says “He who finds a wife finds what is good and receives favour from the Lord.”

As every other girl/boy, I also had many dreams about my future life partner during my college days. I was really excited about how my future life would be after my marriage. I was really worried about the same on seeing the problems some of my friends faced. I was told that we can always pray to God, how our future wife/husband should be. So I started praying about it by listing down so many points as what are all the qualities he/she should possess. But as I was praying, God said, “You wanted to be fit in the jar of particular size but I wanted you to be the perfect lid of the beautiful jar.”

From that day onwards I realised that “My Future Is In God's Hands, But I Hold the Key to Unlock It!” I started praying like, “Lord please mould me and make me, so that I could be the best for my future partner whom you have kept for me. Mold me and make me…we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand.” (Isaiah 64:8)

I want to encourage you with this illustration. Just imagine that we are hiding under His wings and someone is praying for us and searching for us. Atlast they realize that we are hidden in His presence and longs for us. Finally we become ONE in God’s presence. Wow!!!!!... How Amazing it is to be in God’s hand and in His plan.

[..hide me in the shadow of your wings.(Psalm 17:8) May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge.(Ruth 2:12) May you be richly rewarded by the LORD, the God of Israel, under whose wings you have come to take refuge. (Psalm 27:5) How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 36:7) Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 63:7)]

Lord’s word says whoever finds a wife, finds good (A wise - A good wife; one that deserves the name, and performs the duty of that relation) and finds favor (Favor - Obtains her not by his own diligence, but by God's good providence) from the Lord.

Let us wait in the Lord, focusing on Lord Jesus Christ in every walk of our life. And by His grace we will receive this special favor from the Lord.

Let us offer this prayer in Faith:

Our loving father Lord we come before your throne with praise and thanksgiving. How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings. Help me to be under your wings and wait till the day you have appointed for my life to receive the special gift from you for the rest of our life. Amen.

GHG - 12 (JESUS CHRIST WILL CARE FOR YOU)

“Cast all your anxiety on Him for He cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7

From my teen age I used to suffer a lot because of various physical problems. So most of the times, I will be taking so many medicines. Particularly in the year 2009 I took lot of tablets and it continued in the beginning of 2010 too.

Exactly three years before on the same day (24/04/2010) evening my health got deteriorated suddenly and so the people around me took me to a big hospital and admitted me there.

I was admitted in a special care unit as I could not able to stand at all because of my weakness. The doctors told me that I have to stay at least for two days but I wanted to get discharged from the hospital on the same day night.

Doctors didn’t allowed but I insisted a lot on that. So they got angry and they forced me to smell the bad smell of a medicine that was getting injected into my body at that time.

Finally with so much anger they discharged me on the same day night. I returned back to the room where I was staying.

Throughout the next day I could not eat anything at all because of the effect of the bad smell of that medicine. I sat and thought about the years in which I took so many tablets.

On the evening of 25^th April 2010, I went to a prayer centre with so much grief in my heart and prayed to Jesus Christ with tears. I prayed for less than five minutes but I prayed so earnestly.

I told Jesus Christ, “Lord, being a 25 year old guy I could not bear the pain and shame of being a patient at most times taking so many tablets and now even the smell of a medicine seems to be allergic for me. So please show me your grace and help me that I should not take any medicine tablets for the next few days.”

It’s a very simple prayer in which I asked God to help me to live healthy without medicines. Jesus Christ heard my prayer and from that day to till this day He enabled me to stay healthy and He gave me His grace and through that I had never even took a single tablet in these three years.

I still remember that evening in which I went with so much of anxiety, pain and sorrow to God’s presence. He took away all those pain and sorrow and gave me His peace. I am not living in faith without medicines like some holy people. I am living without taking medicines because Jesus Christ is giving me His grace to live like that. I pleaded Him that I should not take medicines for few days but He granted that wish and leading me without tablets for three years.

What a God we serve! My dear young people, your heart might be filled with anxiety, pain and sorrow. Just put all your anxiety, pain and sorrow upon Jesus Christ. He will care for you. He will never forsake you. He will never set aside your tears. He will see your tears and remove all the pain and sorrow from your life.

I prayed a simple prayer on that day and Jesus Christ heard that graciously and removed my sorrow and filled me with His peace and joy. Glory be to Jesus Christ and He will do the same to you today.

Put all that bothers you upon Him through prayer. He will take care of everything and He will bless you.

Not only this, but He has done so many miracles in my life hearing my short simple prayers. He fulfilled even my simplest heart’s desire. Let me share with you about some more good things that Jesus Christ has done in my life.

JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU A LOT MORE THAN ANY ONE ELSE

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, And not have compassion on the son of her womb? Surely they may forget, Yet I will not forget you.” – Isaiah 49:15

You might be feeling like God has forgotten you; you might think that He does not have any interest about your life. Do not get discouraged. Today God is reminding you saying, “I have not forgotten you.”

Jesus Christ has not forgotten you. He is mindful on you and He will bless you. God’s love upon you is more than the love of your mother and father. He loves you more than anyone else.

Today you might be longing for love running behind someone in search of true love. Jesus Christ is telling you today, “My dear child, come to Me. I will pour out my love upon you and I will comfort you.”

Come to Jesus Christ and surely you will find true love that will never forsake and wound you.

In the year 2010, my mom got affected by breast cancer. It was in the month of March we got this bad news and we do not know what to do. We prayed and finally as led by God we went for surgery. Jesus Christ was with us on that tough path and we could sense His presence around us. He comforted us and the surgery was done on the month of April. Doctors advised my mom to have good rest and so my mom was in the hospital taking good rest.

My birthday falls on May. Usually I prefer to stay with my parent on my birth day. During the surgery time my mom and dad was residing with my elder brother and I was away from them working in another city and was staying in hostel. So as usual when my birthday was getting near, I decided to go my brother’s home. It was few days after the surgery and the doctors strictly advised my mom to take rest in the city where the hospital was located and they advised her not to make any journey for her good. So she was taking rest in the city which was nearly 170kms away from my brother’s home.

I went to my brother’s home exactly the day before my birthday. I had told my mom not to come as I know that she can never make that journey as one of her breast was removed and the wounds were getting healed at that time. I reached my brother’s home and I was expecting my mom’s call but she never called me. In the evening when I called her I heard some noises around her but as she didn’t spoke much longer I could not ask her where she is. But to my surprise on that day night she stood in front of me with a big smile on her face. To make me happy in her worst body condition she travelled nearly 170kms for the sake of love that she have upon me.

She stayed with me on my birthday and she cooked delicious foods which I like a lot and made me happy in all the ways. I started my journey back on the night of my birthday and the next morning my mom returned back to the city where she was getting treatment travelling 170kms.

For the sake of the love that she has upon me she travelled nearly 350kms in two days within one month of her surgery. All she had in her mind was the happiness of her son and not the weakness of her body.

My dear young friends, this incident happened exactly three years before. But I still remember the sacrifice my mom did for me on that day and was doing till today.

If a mom can love her son like this, how much more Jesus Christ will love us. He is our creator and we are His sons and daughters. You might be feeling bad because of the lost love.

Your parents might not have loved you; your relatives might have hated you; your friends might have ditched you and your lover or husband might not have loved you truly. You might be in a despair state rejected by the one whom you loved so much.

Do not get dejected. Jesus Christ loves you as you are. He loves you more than the love of your parents and the one whom you loved. Put in the worries that is troubling you in His feet. He will not leave you.

Jesus Christ is telling you today, “My dear child, I will accept you as you are. My hands were stretched open towards you. In my bosom you will find rest. No one can ever love you as I love you and even today I love you a lot. I have seen your tears and I will comfort you. You are My child and no one can blame you. I will be with you and will carry you. You will surely find rest in Me. I will give you peace and joy that you desire in your life.”

Jesus Christ loves you and He will be your comfort. God bless you.

REDEEM YOUR TIME BECAUSE THE DAYS ARE EVIL

Recently we have been hearing so many bad news that was happening around us. Recently two bombs exploded in Boston Marathon and it killed 3 young people including 8 year old kid. I read that nearly 150 people got hurt in that explosion and many people lost their legs.

Doctors might save the lives of people who got hurt but how come they save them from the fear that surrounded their heart and mind. I felt so sad when I heard about this incident.

And then soon I heard about a strong earthquake that was happened in Iran with an estimated magnitude of 7.8 and even though there was no official announcement about the death rate, many feared death in Iran and the nearby gulf countries.

 It was the second biggest earthquake to hit Iran in a week. A week before it was told that a powerful 6.3 magnitude quake struck and killed nearly 37 people and injured 850 people. No one can find a reason why these earthquakes happened in Iraq.

Sadness gripped my heart when I heard about those incidents. Then I sat to watch a news channel and they showed a video of a husband pleading the passerby to help him as he and his family met with an accident. Actually he was travelling along with his wife, little daughter and a son in a two wheeler in a city in India. A truck had hit them and they were thrown to the road. The truck didn’t stopped and it moved on. Somehow he stood up along with his little boy and he found that his wife and his little daughter were injured badly.

So he pleaded for help holding his little son in his hand. It was a busy road and they say that nearly 23 vehicles passed by but no one stopped to help him. Even there were people who were walking nearby passed by just like that after looking at his pathetic situation. I saw the video and I was terribly shocked. Next day I found out from the web that his wife and his daughter died in that accident.

How could someone cross a person casually who was wounded severely in an accident? Where was the love in the hearts of the people?

As we hear the news of someone killing others there were accidents like this happen which destroys the lives of people. Even today I heard a news that an industrial accident happened in a fertilizer plant in Texas and nearly 15 people killed and many were injured.

As I was thinking about all the incidents and was asking God what we should do in this hour. Holy Spirit reminded me a verse in Bible and spoke to me about the need of this hour.

Ephesians 5:15,16 “See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.”

Holy Spirit spoke to me clearly saying, "Redeem your time, because the days are evil".

As God has spoken through His servants of God, many evil things are happening in the world and God might come back at any time.

Before that He has given us time to live and we have to think that how we were using our time. Are we using our time productively for the glory of God or are we using it unnecessarily?

My dear young friends, whatever be your situation right now. You might be living in America or Middle East or India and you might be worried about the things that are happening in your country. Do not get discouraged and do not fear.

All you have to do is turn your face towards Jesus Christ. He will give you His grace to walk uprightly before Him and He will never let your foot to slip. Take refuge in Jesus Christ and He will protect you.

Remember that we are living in the days of evil and it is absolutely necessary to redeem our time and to use it for the glory of God.

“Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” – Ephesians 5:17

LIVE LIFE MOMENT BY MOMENT - INSPIRATIONAL STORY (AUTHOR UNKNOWN)

There was a little girl, whose father was a pastor. One day, she came to her father and said, "Daddy, can a person go their whole life without sinning?"

The father answered, "No, honey, I'm sorry, but that's just not possible."

"What about a year, daddy? Can a person go a whole year without sinning?" She continued.

"No, I don't think that's possible either."

"What about a day, can a person go a day without sinning once?"

"It's very unlikely, no, I don't think they can."

"What about one moment, daddy, can a person go one moment without sinning?"

"Yes, that is possible."

"Then daddy, I want to live my life, moment by moment."

Isn't that how we should live our lives? Not looking ahead to our whole lives, or distant plans. But live moment by moment, as if this moment where your last one before you reach eternity.

GOD WILL ANSWER YOUR TEARS - TESTIMONY OF MS. LITTY MARIA JOY

 I am a Final year B.Tech student studying in reputed Christian engineering university in India. This is a Testimony about how God helped me in my life and taught me a lot of things. When I reached my final year in my Engineering, like all other students I also wanted to get placed in a very good company. When the time of placements came I was in a dilemma as to how to prepare for different interviews and worked very hard towards achieving my Goal.

When the first company came to our campus I wished to get through it, as it was one of the well known MNC’s.But, unfortunately I couldn’t get through. This made me very disappointed and I really wanted to get through the next company, even though I only had two weeks, I strived my best to learn.

On the day of the 2^nd company, I attended the test and was very confident that I will get through it; I always had the feeling that God will reward us for our Hard Work and will give me a blessing. But, God knew what He was doing, when the results were announced all the names of the people sitting around me and all my friend’s names were called out except mine. I had to walk out of the hall all alone.

At that moment, I didn’t understand what was going on and was extremely angry with God. I came back to my room and wept badly, I couldn’t stand the pain that I didn’t clear and was very sad that I was the only one among my friends who was left without a job. I kept asking God ‘why?’ and all that I got in return was pure silence. All the days after that my anger and my fights with God kept increasing.

Many other companies came after that and as I didn’t clear any of them my confidence went down drastically and I was shattered. I felt like I was all alone and nobody cares for me, everybody around me looked down on me and didn’t have any confidence in me. And simultaneously, my faith in God decreased slowly, but somewhere in my heart I knew that God knows what I am going through and will surely give me a solution.

My prayers were filled with questions that gave me the same silence in return, this pain was killing me and I slowly lost hope in my life and all the love I had for my Father was slowly shedding. I kept reading verses and kept distracting myself so that I hold myself back together again but all that would go into vain.

My day would start and end with tears and I reached a point where I stopped asking questions to God and just believed that He is greater than anybody in this world and getting me a job is a very simple task for Him and simply trusted Him for His ability and love.

I slowly stopped all the fights I had and kept praying silently without asking Him any questions, all the tears in me had dried up and I had no strength to take myself through this anymore.

On April 8^th, I attended a interview of a company, where I had gone without any preparation, I wrote the entrance test and I got through the first round, slowly all the silence that God had for me broke and I felt Him leading me through every step.

The next round was the Group discussion round, where I was asked to speak and I could clearly feel the presence of God around me, by this I knew this company was different and I cleared the second round too.

I was asked to come the next day to attend the technical and personal interview, that day I came back and prayed “Father, If this is your will be with me tomorrow. You know I can’t do this alone.” and I felt a comfort and peace surrounding me, and I knew that He would help me. I didn’t prepare for anything that day.

The next day, I attended my technical interview at noon and every question that he asked was answered not by me but my God, the interviewer was very happy with my performance, and he send me directly for my personal interview, where I was asked a set of questions which again was organised by the Spirit inside me, I was amazed by the way the answers came out, I could clearly feel God working.

The Next round was the interview with the management head and I had to sit in front of a person who had 13 years of experience in the management field. My God lead me through it wonderfully and I finally at the end of the day my name was called out and I was placed in a very good company.

It is only after that, that I started realising how slowly God has taught me everything. He has made me get into the details of how to live life and how He keeps watching you in every tiny thing that you do. I also realised that how much ever you hate Him, He will still love us for the only reason that we are His child.

When God has a plan He will select the most beautiful time to make it perfect and an unforgettable experience in your life that you will never complain and love praising Him.
