“... I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:20
You might be feeling alone today.
You might feel that God was so far away from you. You want to listen to God’s
voice but yet you could not hear His voice. You are so sad that your prayer
seems to be unanswered and you feel so depressed about it. Today Jesus Christ
gives you the assurance that He is with you always even to the end of the age.
Jesus Christ is not far away from
you. He heard your prayers so far and He will answer it soon. Do not feel
anxious about anything for God is with you and He will give you victory.
I know a young girl who studies UG
degree course in a reputed engineering university here in India. She tried her
best to live for Christ but there were times she could not do that as she
desired. She had her own weakness and at times she found herself doing unwanted
things. But yet she had a faith that Jesus Christ will lift her up.
She entered the final year of her
studies with so much hope and soon companies came to that college for taking
students for job. With so much of preparation she attended the placement process
of the first company. Many of her friends got through the process and they got
placed but she didn’t get a job.
She was so depressed about it and
asked God so many answers. But Jesus Christ never replied to her questions.
Somewhere she had a hope that she will get a job in any one of the companies
that was scheduled to come to her college. But soon all of her hope was
shattered as she could not get a job at all.
She lost all her hope but never left
God. She used to cry to Jesus Christ for her future. She felt ashamed to be in
the college with her friends who got placed. All she desired was the course to
end so that she will return back to her family.
Exactly ten days before her course
end, she heard that a company is coming to some other college and the college
in which she studied made the arrangements for some students to go and attend
the company.
She also went and nearly 300
students came for the interview. She had put all her hope in Jesus Christ and
went for that interview. She never informed her parents about the interview
because she didn’t want to disappoint them once again. Such was her sorrow.
She went and attended the interview
with so much of depression but yet God enabled her to clear the entire test
process and finally by the grace of Jesus Christ she got a job in that reputed
company. She was one among the four students who got the job from her college. Jesus
Christ answered all her questions in His time by giving her a job in a reputed
company.
I know that girl personally and I
know the pain she had went through till the day before she got that job. There
were times she felt that God was not with her but the truth is God was with her
and lifted her in His time.
My dear young friends, you might be
going through a toughest path thinking God has left you. Do not worry. Jesus
Christ is with you and even to the end of your life He will be with you and
will lead you.
You might be longing for a victory,
good marks in exam, promotion in work place, a child, a life partner or
anything. Remember Jesus Christ is with you and He will give you all the
blessings that you have asked Him for His glory.
You are not at all alone. Jesus
Christ is with you to bless you, to raise you high, to use you for His glory
and to carry you.
Keep going with Jesus Christ. God
