“Behold, I give you the
authority…over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt
you.” – Luke 10:19
To you who has a
gripping fear in your heart, Holy Spirit says, “Nothing shall hurt you.”
We read about the life
situation of Joseph in Genesis 49:23-24
“The archers have
bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in
strength, And the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty
God of Jacob…”
Joseph’s enemies attacked him
fiercely and tried to destroy his life. But the Lord was with Joseph and so
nothing could hurt him. Even today as the Lord is with you no evil forces can
harm you says Holy Spirit to you.
As the Lord is with you…
1. The situations that instills fear of death into your hearts will never hurt you. (Matthew 8:23-27)
When Jesus and His
disciples were traveling in a boat, fierce storm hit the
lake, and the boat was in danger of sinking. Because of that the disciples were
terrified. That particular situation instilled fear of death into the hearts of
the disciples. Jesus stood and rebuked the winds and the sea. Immediately there
was a great calm.
Today your heart might
be filled with the fear of death because of the failures you had encountered in
your studies or personal life, because of the rising debts, diseases that had
affected you and because of the situational pressure. When you look at your
needs your heart might be sinking. Today Holy Spirit says to you that there
will be a great calm in your heart and life. No situations can hurt you says
Holy Spirit to you.
2. The power of darkness will never hurt you.
(Mark 9:17-27)
Jesus heard the cry of
that father and helped him. He saved his son’s life from death. The darkness of
death could not hurt that young boy because Jesus Christ stood by his side.
No power of darkness
be it any sorcery or any other evil powers can harm you. You are under the
wings of almighty God. No weapon that formed against you shall prosper says
Holy Spirit to you.
