Luke 9:53 But they did
not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem.
Jesus had planned to go to Jerusalem and His
disciples went to a Samaritan village to prepare for Him but the people in the
village did not receive Him.
1. There is always God's purpose behind closed
doors, unanswered prayers and rejected relationships.
Even in your life, you might face closed paths or
someone might have rejected you. God has a plan about your life. Stay in God’s
presence and find God's will and go ahead according to His plan.
Luke 9:54-55 And when His disciples James and
John saw this, they said, "Lord, do You want us to command fire to come
down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?"
But He turned and rebuked them, and said, "You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.

2. You are filled by God's Holy Spirit and today
God doesn't want you to carry bitterness against someone who rejected you.
Something might not be happening as you had expected. Do not curse yourself,
your life or others for what’s happening around you.
Elijah did brought
fire from heaven but what He did is according to God’s word and to bring glory
to God’s name.
3. Do not use God’s
calling and power for your own desires and to fulfil your will. You are called
for a greater cause and obey what God asks you to do.
Jesus came to save men’s
lives and not to destroy them.
4. Even today you
might be facing a tough situation in your life. People might come against you
for no reasons. Do not get discouraged. God will save you and lead you in His
path.
