QUOTES ON TOP

“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

GHG SHORT DEVOTIONALS - 46 (GOD IS TAKING CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE SITUATION TO BRING BLESSINGS INTO YOUR LIFE)

He went in and said to them, “Why all this commotion and wailing? The child is not dead but asleep.” – Mark 5:39

1.     God is taking control of your life situation.

When Jesus Christ entered into the house of Jairus, He took control of the whole situation. He did so, to do a miracle so that Jairus and his family will be filled with joy.

Say to those who are fearful-hearted, "Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you." - Isaiah 35:4

Why are you weeping today? Your life situation might have gone worse. Be strong. Do not get discouraged. Weep not.  God is taking control of your life situation to do a miracle in your life. He will come and save you.

2.     God is not looking at the situation as you look at it.

Everyone who were in the house of Jairus were crying because his daughter was dead. It is true that his daughter was dead. But Jesus never looked at the situation as they were looking at it. To them she was dead and to Jesus she was asleep.

Even today your situation might be too hard for you. You have lost all your hope. Things and situations that seem to be hard to you is nothing to God as everything is possible to Him. You had reached an end and you are saying to yourself that there is no possibility of returning back to God as your soul was dead because of the sins that you had committed. Your dead soul will come to life as God puts His Spirit in you today.

3.     His comfort will delight you.

“In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul." - Psalm 94:19

Jesus Christ raised the dead daughter of Jairus. Those who were in his house were astonished. God turned their sorrow to joy.

To Him nothing is impossible. He will do greater things in your life. God will bring back the dead organs, dead things and dead situations to life. What God is going to do in your life and through your life will completely astonish you and those who were around you says Holy Spirit to you today.
