QUOTES ON TOP

“I want something really worthwhile to live for. I want to invest this one life of mine as wisely as possible, in the place that yields the richest profits to the world and me…wherever it is, I want it to be God’s choice for me and not my own… Christ said, “He that would find his life shall lose it” and proved the truth of this divine paradox at Calvary. I want Him to lead me and His Holy Spirit to fill me.” – Betty Stam

"I CAN HOLD YOU WITH MY ARMS BUT I CAN'T WIPE AWAY YOUR TEARS" - OPENHEARTED LETTER TO GOD GIVEN LITTLE DAUGHTER

My dearest princess,

Your birth was one of the happiest things that ever happened in my life by the grace of God. I had never thought that God will give a daughter to me but yet He gave you to me through His abundant grace.

When you grow up everyone will tell you that you were born because of your parents’ desire and wish. Few will say some biological reasons. Actually it’s not true. You were born because Jesus Christ wants you to be born. When you were in your mother’s womb few doctors checked your well being and gave a period and told us that you will be born between those days. You were born exactly 2 weeks before their predicted date.

Neither your birth nor your birthday was influenced and decided by any human. Both were decided by God according to His purpose. He placed you in your mother’s womb, protected you when you were there and after your birth He is still carrying you in His arms. He will carry you, protect you and sustain you in the coming days also.

As you are growing up, nowadays I could understand that you are seeing everyone around you and recognizing them. You love to see the face of your mother and cry seeing her whenever you are hungry. At times when you are not comfortable with something you cry and you look at me thinking that I will do something and wipe away your tears.

Even few days back you cried looking at me expecting me to do something. I carried you in my arms and put you in my shoulders. Other than that I could do nothing. I could not do anything according to your expectations and you continued crying.

All I wanted you to know is, I can carry you in my arms and hold you. But I can’t do anything to stop your tears. Most of the times I could not understand why you are crying and what do you want. You might feel bad that I can’t do anything for you. But do not get discouraged.

There is a heavenly Father for you who is looking at you every moment. He is Jesus Christ. His eyes are upon you. As you still grow up you will understand even your earthly father is looking to Him for everything because He alone is mighty to meet all our needs.

My dear daughter, He is actually your Father. He gave you to me for a purpose and to be frank I am like a guardian to you. Even I can’t say that because it’s not me who guard you. Again it’s your heavenly Father who guards you and protects you. My job is to teach you to walk in the will of your heavenly Father and do what He asks me to do.

Hereafter if you need anything, just look to Jesus Christ. He will provide you everything that you need. When you look unto Him, your expectations will never be cut off. He will give the desires of your heart and He will do everything for you because He alone is your Father and not me. Jesus Christ loves you so much and me too. God bless you dear.
