THE LORD WILL ARISE OVER YOU AND HIS GLORY WILL BE SEEN UPON YOU

“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you.” – Isaiah 60:2

As you are entering into the new year God is promising you that His glory will be seen upon you. Till now you might be struggling hard in your life for so many things. You might have worn out. Do not lose hope. Lord will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you. 

There was a young man who was called by God to do His work. He married a girl whom he loved so much and soon two children were born to them. As he started to do God’s ministry, the city in which he lived faced a severe flood. He went out to help others but somehow he missed his family. When he returned home someone told him that his family was shifted to another far away town. As the flood surrounded the entire city he could not go and find them. 

After few days he had begun his search to find his wife and children. Soon he found the place where they are living and he ran to that place. But then he found out that his wife was admitted in hospital as she got a severe disease. As soon as he rushed near to his wife the doctors covered her head with a white cloth indicating her death. He doesn’t know what to do but he wept so badly. As he stood there someone came to him and told him that his daughter is dying. He went to see her and soon she also died. He put both of them together into the grave and wept bitterly. Darkness surrounded his life.

Years passed and one day he could not bear the pain at all and so he ran to a lonely place and cried loudly to God. God heard His prayers and spoke to him in His glory and told him that He will take care of his life. Divine peace filled his heart and then slowly God made him forget all the sorrows of the past and used him mightily for His glory. Millions of people got healed through his ministry. 

Though his life was surrounded by the darkness through the sorrowful situations he faced, Lord’s glory was seen through his life when he surrendered everything into the hands of Jesus Christ.

My dear young friends, do not cling onto your sorrows, fears and worries. Till this moment you might be facing only failures after failures in your life. Do not get discouraged. Lord’s glory will come into your life and His glory will remove all the darkness that was prevailing in your life.

As Lord’s glory arise over you, the darkness of sin, sorrow and sickness will go away. You will receive God’s overflowing blessing. So put your hope on Jesus Christ and tell about your sorrow, fear and worries to Him. 

Jesus Christ is listening to your prayers. He had seen your tears. His eyes are upon you. He will arise over you and His glory will be seen upon you in this New Year. All the days of this New Year you will see God’s glory operating in your life. 

Thank God for everything He has done in your life so far. He will continue to bless you abundantly. He will not leave you nor forsake you. God bless you and have a blessed new year.
