“Then out of them shall proceed
thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and
they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small
(despised).” – Jeremiah 30:19
Someone might have called you as an
outcast in the previous year. No one desired to stay with you and no one needed
you at any instant. You might have been addicted to so many sinful weaknesses.
You had no good to think and rejoice at the end of the previous year. You believe
that this year will also bring no good. Do not get discouraged.
Jesus Christ promises you that in
this year you will have so much goodness and your heart will be filled with
thanksgiving and your voice will be filled with gladness. You will not diminish
and you will not be despised.
God will grant blessings and
goodness to you in this New Year. People around you will be surprised when they
see how God has blessed you from nothing to everything. You will testify God’s
glory. Many have thought that your life had no good and you are finished. ‘You
will be raised in front of them for My glory’, says Jesus Christ to you.
Bible says in 1 Samuel 2:8, “He raises the poor from the dust
and lifts the beggar from the
ash heap, to set them among
princes and make them inherit the throne of glory...”
Once I heard a testimony about a
person who is a researcher. He is a strong believer and He did everything
according to God’s will. He worked in a reputed institution in India. He had a
research lab in that institution. His projects were done in that lab and he had
so many experimental setups in his lab. But one day his lab got burnt because of
an accident and when he returned all that he could find was ash heap.
Everything of his in that lab was burnt and he was broken.
But yet he never lost his faith. God
promised him that he will raise him. God blessed him according to His promise
and He enabled him to setup the lab once again. Through that God blessed him
with so many grants for his projects from government organizations and he
became a good researcher. Now he is working as a head in a big organization.
My dear young friends, your hopes
might have also got burnt in the previous year. All that you see in your life
might be ash heaps. Do not worry. Jesus Christ will raise you from the dust and
ash heaps and He will set you stand among the princes. You will also inherit
the throne of glory. You will be richly blessed.
Your loved ones might have despised
you and your heart’s feelings. Jesus Christ will never despise you and your
desires. Get strengthened in God. You will not diminish. Jesus Christ loves you
so much. This year will be a blessed year to you. God bless you.
